I can only presume that Wiggins knows what he took was performance enhancing as why else would he say it allowed him to perform on a level playing field. However if he didn't break any rules then the rules need to be looked at.

Either you are physically capable of competing at that level or you aren't. My assistant at work has gone on maternity leave. I now have all her emails on my computer, some 15,000 in her in box. Spending a little time to reduce this I started with the oldest. It was from me to her on September 21st 2015, reminding her I was leaving early as I had a Doc's appointment.I don't have appointments often but I had another one two days ago. Exactly a year later and at the same time. It made me think was there any meaning to this beyond it being a huge coincidence. Years ago I was leaving a store in Miami Beach and held open the door for a couple coming in. The man was someone who used to be my best friend when we were kids, who I hadn't seen in years. We came from a small town in the middle of Ireland. I was living here at the time and he had lived in various places around the globe. I found this article on the subject which to be honest is heavy reading. I'll add the link.
