    Christmas

Do they need cooking? I heard you were good at it.
  2. I can only presume that Wiggins knows what he took was performance enhancing as why else would he say it allowed him to perform on a level playing field. However if he didn't break any rules then the rules need to be looked at.
  3. I know. Doesn't mean he isn't abroad on holiday or if he's 17, just came in from a night out slightly the worse for wear.
  4. I imagine your current girlfriend at the time had paid her to follow you as she suspected you were still seeing your ex-girlfriend. And she was right!
  5. So Bradley had the injections for his 'illness' to allow him to compete on a level playing field. I'm of the opinion that even it it isn't breaking any rules it shouldn't be allowed. Either you are physically capable of competing at that level or you aren't. If I wanted to race in the Tour de France on a level playing field they would have to take away the bicycles from the others. Oh yeah, they would have take the mountains out of it too. They aren't level.
  6. 4.32 am in the UK. Henry could be somewhere else.
  7. I'm curious to know what you are writing about Henry as it makes no sense to me at all.
  8. I'm getting a good idea now though........
  9. I'm still not sure what Pogba is apart from an athlete.
  10. This doesn't happen at test match level does it? I understood if you wanted to be in with a chance of winning a game you declared when you considered you possibly had enough runs on the board and you gave yourself a chance of bowling out the opposition in the time left. Should it not have been up to the team batting first yesterday to decide that?
  11. Nah. Not even a cricket fan especially though most sports grab my attention sometimes. I just wonder why it's accepted and not considered bad sportsmanship. I'd also like to know how they agreed on the maths.
  12. It's a bit of a conversation stopper. Anyway, I'm really hoping JM tries something else today by dropping Rooney.
  13. Bit of a contrived ending to the county championship. Just not cricket, is it?
  14. Really? You just blew a 300!
  15. My assistant at work has gone on maternity leave. I now have all her emails on my computer, some 15,000 in her in box. Spending a little time to reduce this I started with the oldest. It was from me to her on September 21st 2015, reminding her I was leaving early as I had a Doc's appointment.I don't have appointments often but I had another one two days ago. Exactly a year later and at the same time. It made me think was there any meaning to this beyond it being a huge coincidence. Years ago I was leaving a store in Miami Beach and held open the door for a couple coming in. The man was someone who used to be my best friend when we were kids, who I hadn't seen in years. We came from a small town in the middle of Ireland. I was living here at the time and he had lived in various places around the globe. I found this article on the subject which to be honest is heavy reading. I'll add the link. The reference to a hamster on a wheel is to suggest that maybe life is going around in circles and we end up at the same place we started. Anyway, what's your coincidence you can't forget? Theories welcome. http://www.theatlantic.com/science/archive/2016/02/the-true-meaning-of-coincidences/463164/
  16. You appear to be safe from finishing bottom. A couple of 3 pointers each week which I reckon are just luck and you'll be flying up the table. Lady G got 9 out of 10 correct last week and still got less points than Lucky Dosh who got 4 wrong ☺

No harm in looking for fresh perspectives on this subject.
  18. No wonder McNair went to Sunderland.
  19. I presume most threads are started by blow ins. Why would this one particularly upset you Grok? Seems harmless to me. Anytime I'm tempted to add to it I think that I'm probably not a groovy fucker and I really would only want to show what great taste in music I have.

The cancellations yesterday late afternoon were we were told due to staff shortages. Not enough drivers.
  22. Putting on nicely washed and perfectly matched socks (but not ironed) to find my big toe is sticking out through a hole.
  23. Perhaps all TUE's should be banned. After all if you are an elite sportsperson you should be able to compete in full health without the aid of medicine or drugs.
  24. Perhaps he was got.
  25. .....who seems to think that overuse of medicine is cheating, if I've understood it correctly.
