  1. Nothing wrong with 'real'. Trouble is defining it.
  2. Haven't worked out if Mrs Y was with Henry or Bob or both.....
  3. malumbu, I'd possibly take your posts about boring places seriously if you could spell too and not 'to'. Frankly being bored is a state of mind. Why you end up in so many boring places is possibly down to you. Everyone appears to want something different in life. Just because it's not what you want, does that make you more enlightened?
  4. OK but if you had food and water you'd be all right. My fathers Uncle made his money from mining in America. He became rich and was very generous with his money. There is still a building in LA called after him. However it still seems weird to put value on something this is actually useless.
  5. Our fellow lived at home unless a bitch was in heat. He then dissapeared for a week and eventually returned to sleep for a week.
  6. Perhaps they need a 'new fans area' to avoid any trouble.
  7. Jeez Fox. Is that your best answer?
  8. I can't be bothered to read this thread to this point. I'd like to ask the question though, why is gold valued so much over water, food and things you need to actually continue living on the planet? I fully expect this post to be ignored.
  9. Bloody hell West Ham. You cost me today.
  10. Where I grew up even the dogs had surnames. Judy Kilemade, Spot Higgins, Ringo Quinn, Rusty Branagan. They were able to wander wherever they wanted.
  11. How do you know people talk about you behind your back? I ask myself this all the time but can't prove it.
  12. Just as well PGC. I enjoyed the Manchester derby if not the result. City were very good especially in the first half. Not sure what to say about United. Great goal by Zlat and we should have had a pen. Maybe time for Rashford to start games. I'm not sure what Smalling has done wrong. I like Blind but maybe not as a centre half. Great season in store I think meaning generally.

Expectations of a perfect day several months in advance leaves me cold when any day before it could be your last. Try enjoying them. They won't happen again either.

  16. Since my last investment in April I've multiplied it by about 5.5. I'm quite happy though there's been some close shaves. I bet on England to win the other night with 20 minutes left. Odds were about evens. I stay away from horses and golf thought, apart from the Open when it was a two horse race.
  17. You appear to be too attached to a piece of metal muley.

  19. Is this a shop you're talking about or the second coming or third? I may have missed one.
  20. On the subject of tax refunds I wrote on behalf of my son for a refund for 2015/16. The reply I got was they had no record of him having paid any tax. When he came home for a month he provided me with payslips which were on his computer. I wrote again and lo and behold a cheque arrived a few weeks later. Not lots of money but for a student abroad most welcome for him and me.
  21. Most threads die naturally except if you add to it by suggesting it should be closed.
  22. Nothing a cert in my mind. That's why I found it so hard to predict.
  23. How do you know?
