This really should be in the Top Tips thread RPC.
  3. Are you wearing a green top Phlox?
  4. A badly loaded dishwasher.

No it should not worry you. Worry is a pointless emotion when it comes to something bad that hasn't even happened.
  7. Why does that upset you?
  8. I've never seen the dark side of the moon. I've heard it though.
  9. Good luck Dundalk. You'll probably need it.
  10. Thanks Seabag. Is Bognor so crap it's worth taking a look?
  11. Doesn't seem to do much business though which isn't a good sign for a new place.

Eh? How do you know Declan and what's it got to do with him? I never said it bugged me, just that I was curious.
  13. numbers Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > where are ye off to then doc? have you made up > your mind yet? I'm veering towards Arundel numbers as Lady Norwood suggested, but I'm grateful for all the suggestions. Still haven't finally made up my mind.
  14. TOP DEFINITION skool A different way to spell school. This spelling is for the idiots that dropped out of "skool" I hate "skool." I was just curious why anyone would spell it that way.
  15. HIJACKERS. Avoid a long stressful siege and the risk of arrest, imprisonment or death by simply making sure you book a flight to your intended destination in the first place.
  16. Would like to spend a few days (3-4) in rural(ish) England but not too far from ED. Want somewhere with self catering, probably down south. Needs to be where there are interesting walks. Could be by the sea but doesn't have to be. Any suggestions please?
  17. Don't know whats wrong with 'guys'. It's origin is probably older than the others.
  18. The way they work it out based on my monthly season ticket cost. The amount is right even if it doesn't seem right. What bugs me is sometimes you find out you can use the ticket on other forms of transport. When do they relay this information? Usually after you have paid for an alternative form of transport.
  19. I'm amazed anyone could get away with that in such a public area.
  20. Thanks malumbu (and others) for bothering to add your input. This is a small family run company and being in a union wouldn't make any difference. There is no conflict, just a difference of views. I happen to think the MD is a very nice guy but makes really stupid mistakes. It was his mummy's company and he never had any experience of working anywhere else.

    Top Tips

I seem to remember there was a thread called this, possibly started by a long departed woof. So given my experience this morning, I'd thought I'd start another one. I received my usual annual renewal notice for buildings and contents insurance from ironically another 'dog', and as I had been on a filing spree with my new shredder (thanks for the suggestions and particularly Laddy as I bought one of your Which options) I noted the 13% increase in the cost. I didn't work that out in my head by the way. So I decided to use a price comparison site. I ended up getting the same policy with the same nodding dog for almost 50% less. The moral of the story is don't accept automatic renewals. Feel free to share any more 'top tips'.
  22. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/european/how-real-madrid-helped-to-rebuild-manchester-united-after-munich-air-disaster-8492422.html United were 'offered' the European Cup by Madrid in 58. They declined but this is a great story anyway.
