  3. Today I interviewed 7 trainee Estonian Business Advisers and am about to go for a swim.
  4. Reading "A Chemical Prison" by Barbara Nadell - an Inspector Icman murder mystery set in Istanbul.
  5. Isnt Beluga a whale? DULWICHMUM ATE WILLY EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
  6. I only ever go the cemetery in Nunhead. It is the liveliest place there.
  7. Dulwich Mum Off Licence Brawl Cells
  8. Spent the day WFH. Have horrible cold so not as good as it could have been.
  9. Silly Alfornun - nobody cares enough to lobby Mr/Mrs/Miss/Ms Admin for Lounging.
  10. The NCB, British Rail, British Steel and British Leyland were all out-standing success stories of nationalisation under the Labour Party and I am sure that British Rock will do as well.
  11. I did some work for the Queens Flight a few years ago. Went on a flight on one of their business jets - it was all surprisingly ordinary. More tea and coffee in standard RAF china than G&T. They had some interesting observations on the best and the worst of the VIPs that they transported. The best were Tony and Cherie Blair as they always made a point of knowing the names of the crew and always said thank-you. The two worst are both now sadly dead and I would not speak ill of them. That day I walked through the Operations Room and there was a white board with that morning's sorties: 1 - The Princess Royal 2- Mr M Palaeologus Somebody recognised my true status.
  12. Just had a meal at the Hisar with some EDF chums. Food was excellent, service was polite but rubbish. It took an hour for the main course to arrive after the starters were finished. My first visit, so disappointing.
  13. A task for the weekend then.
  14. I have just experimented with a piece of sellotape and my nads in the office toilet. My how the scream echoed around the cubicles. Its all very well, but I cant actually see the result through the tears of pain.
  15. Hmm - thats true. The future of the Mirash is in question (sob!). Perhaps we should go there before the Chicken Makhni disappears forever. Do you mean the 5th Keef? If you cant do the 3rd - you can do the 5th, or do you mean you can do the 5th? Confused of SoGo (South of the Gowlett).
  16. I think that we were talking about the next one, at Ganapati down Bellenden way after the next EDF drinks in early March. Being utterly selfish I have limited availability week commencing 3 March, but I could do Wednesday 5 March after Badminton.
  17. I think that the sack would be equally painful Keef - all that tugging on your marble pouch. Still, the ladies seem to go through some truly awful procedures on an entirely volunary basis (depilation of a variety of types, plastic surgery, child birth) so we shouldnt complain. Having said that my back, sack and crack are my own private kingdoms and nobody is getting anywhere near them - which is the source of a great deal of regret.
  18. Hpy Bdy JhLsh!
  19. I must say that a curry with chums after an hour of badminton is a great way of replacing those vital bodily humours. I recommend it to all sensible athletes. I cant make next Wednesday or the Wednesday after that (20/2 and 27/2) and may well be late for the Wednesday after that (5/3) - but dont forget me Oh My Darlings!
  20. You couldnt sit 12 infront of the Mirash, I dont think that the frontage of the Mirash is 19' wide, I dont think that it is 5'6'' deep and the access to the cellar is at the back of the Mirash not the front as stated in the advert. Probably not the Mirash then?
  21. :-$ :))
  22. How much is going to be spent on new fencing for Goose Green? The existing fencing isnt ideal, but not an eye-sore - surely the Livesey is a bigger priority?
