  1. Mick - two babes!! Yay!!! Where do you want to go?
  2. If it is true, it might be a bad thing. Is there enough trade in the area to keep 2 smaller cinemas going?
  3. OK. All change. 17 July it is instead and we will go somewhere on Lordship Lane. Mick Mac, you have first choice, where shall we go? XX
  4. Would you be available then Mick? We could do ...
  5. I realise that we are entering the summer holiday season, warm weather and Omrith is off our usual beaten track. So, if there are no more takers I will cancel this one and take a break until autumn.
  6. Is it just me and Foxy then? I have no problem with that, but a few other faces would be nice! XX
  7. This Thursday everybody!! Could you confirm so that I can book a table?
  8. Love the planes coming over ED. Always have the binoculars handy. As long as we have Heathrow and City Airport we will have plane noise.
  9. It has! There have been multiple 21st birthdays over the years. Hibbs is quite the marvel of good genetics, sensible eating, regular exercise and early nights .....
  10. Eight of us at Dulwich Tandoori last night. The food was very good and the service efficient and friendly. Many thanks to the Dulwich Tandoori. The suggestion for next month is Omrith - which is up Forest Hill Road. We have been there before, indeed it hosted the largest turn out ever. Twenty two people who were there as much to celebrate Hibbs' 21st birthday as to enjoy a great curry. Both of which we did. Omrith is next to the Rose Pub, so I suggest that we meet there first for a sharpener. http://omrith.com/ http://www.therosedulwich.co.uk/
  11. Tonight everybody!! See you in the EDT at 7.15ish. XX
  12. *Tippy-toe marks in the dusty floor?* *Follows them and finds a brown paper box with an alarm clock attached* *It has "BOM" painted on it in a childish scrawl* *Takes it out to the back gate where lives the recycling bin with "BOMS" written on it. Drops the box and alarm clock into it*
  13. Table for 8 people booked for 8pm. Meet at the EDT at 7.15ish from drinks. XX
  14. Stepping up to the plate Foxy, Good Man! Next week everybody, sneaked up on me..
  15. Money Maker are good croppers (as the names suggests) but are a bit ..... tomatoey - round and red. You can get all sorts of more interesting and colourful varieties. Having said that, for your first time, buy some standard baby plants from a garden centre, next year, try from seed. As KK says, plant them, give them sun, some canes to grow up and tomatrite fertiliser and they will grow. Trim back the excess foliage to encourage fruit production when flowers appear.
  16. I am not available at the beginning of May. So I suggest that we rest Curry Club until 5 June when we could try Dulwich Tandoori. Xx
  17. I am not available in early May, so I suggest that we have a rest until 5 June when we could try Dulwich Tandoori. Cheers M
  18. Sorry you couldn't make it Sheila. It was a lovely meal, good to see Bob and Mrs Bob too. Last time we were a somewhat disappointed in the food, standards had slipped. I am happy to report that things are back to normal and the manager is back in charge. Food was excellent. We had pops, starters, main course and beers. It came to ?23 per head, I don't think that is too bad at all and not the excess cost that some feared. All good. Any ideas re the next one?
