I am watching the last episode on IPlayer. Bloody good drama, if rather uncomfortable viewing at times. Bloody squints at the BBC.

I have had great NYEs at The Rye Hotel (in the old days) and The Gowlett.

Good fun yesterday. Free breakfast, free lunch, free drinks all evening in Corney and Barrow. Made it back home with no damage but a red wine soaked shirt.

Eight of us, which is good for a Xmas gathering. Dulwich Tandoori did us proud, it is clearly the LL curry house of the moment as it was rammed. A great evening and thanks one and all. Have a great Xmas and New Year. January meet - 9 January 2014. How about Veer Zara? Not been there for ages. This meeting will be our 6th year anniversary. Blimey.

I get on with my colleagues. We have learnt the lessons of deeply disappointing meals at otherwise good restaurants that try and turn themselves into fast food roast turkey dinner joints during the Christmas period. So, late morning in the local 'spoons for Secret Santa and drinks, lunch at Pizza Express and then an area booked at the local Corney and Barrow with money behind the bar. I tend to leave before things get too drunken.
