  1. No. Curry Cabin is the November venue, next week Foxy! We aren't at December yet :)
  2. The 12th Dec is the day before my office Xmas party, I will be cream crackered. Now, the first Thursday of December I am not available, I will be on a plane heading to Berlin. So, lets make the Christmas curry bash the December Curry Club meet? Is this OK? XX
  3. Re-reading that thread, so many Forumites of yesteryear. So many that seemed to go just a bit potty and got themselves banned or, just flounced off. But they were happy times.
  4. Couple of weeks to go, there has been some discussion about a Christmas Curry Club meet, this being over and above the normal early December meet. Lets start kicking some dates around. I have to admit that Fridays in December are already booked out for me, but how about a Thursday, specifically 12 December? Thursday is after all the day we normally meet on and that only leaves Friday to get through. I am thinking Dulwich Tandoori as the venue.
  5. Thinking Allowed with Laurie Taylor is always fascinating, I like the comedy, the plays and so on. TMS on long wave and digital, faultless. Money Box Live - grim, the Any Questions? phone-in always attracts Daily Mail reading morons. To be avoided.
  6. Ditto. I like Radio 4, except the daily whingefest that is You and Yours
  7. We could form a Home Guard.
  8. There is an M&S on the Walworth Road, but a 15 minute bus road away.
  9. There is one Lordship Lane curry restaurant that is better than all the rest Parents with small children have an absolute right to priority treatment in all circumstances 20 year olds never get involved in on-line social groups
  10. Having stupidly sold my much loved Dual deck many years ago. I purchased another one, from this very Forum. Very happy.
  11. Absolutely Kasia, it will be good to see you again :)
  12. Ummm, I wanted to ensure that my response was completely up to date..... Ahem... Our last visit was somewhat disappointing. The food was OK but not the expected great and the price was way over the top. In the past Tandoori Nights have been more expensive but that bit better. Not so with our last visit. > Are you including Tandoori Nights in that? It's > always seemed a notch (or two) above the rest for > me.
  14. The Dulwich Tandoori is currently the Curry Clubs favourite for dining-in. They seemed to have plenty of deliveries going out of the door when we were there last week.
  15. Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooohh!! Famous people .....
  16. Come along Paco. We meet at a local pub or bar, normally at 7ish. We then head on to the restaurant at 8ish. This time I am going to suggest Franklins Restaurant bar.
  17. Yummy! Great service, great food and so much of it! ?22 each, great value too. Free dishes given to us in preparation for their Festival next week. Not a surprise that the Dulwich Tandoori was packed full for the whole of the evening. Next meeting: Thursday 7 November, Curry Cabin.
  18. I will try and nab the long table immediately behind the bar - not the downstairs bit. If not then I will be wearing a tweed jacket and have short ginger hair. On my head. The hair not the jacket.
  19. I have booked a table for 8pm. I will be sat in The Draft House from 7ish.
  20. Any updates on that? Is it still a complete ban? I am surprised that do not allow people to bring their own drink with them.
  21. Loving your enthusiasm Mr Fox! Draft House @ 7ish Dulwich Tandoori @ 8ish
