  1. inside 72 until the bad prog rock starts getting airplay from about 10PM, thenm a random medley of wherever will let us in until we are kicked out and we have to go and "tag" some redeveloped shop front with our cunningly concealed spray cans and marker pens
  2. I refuse to give the place my custom - the coffee isnt good enought to warrant a visit , the food is ledd than satisfactory ( in my limited experience ) , the staff inconsistant to say the least and being packed in like sardines can be pretty grim. Still not sure why people still bother with the place - it doesnt seem to have a great deal going for it, 'specially now Drum & much of LL itsefl seem to provide better service, coffee and often value
  3. Rule of thumb with veggie food is Fat is not a poosr substiture for substance - so may places offer a lazy veggie option that invariably includes deep fried or more likely Cheese based dishes - in the belief that the mouth feel of the cheese will hide the unimaginative glop below it. This is a the sign of a poor and lazy chef. You can eat veggie on LL, but it will have cheese in it somewhere usually A veggie dish that has thought behind it does not need to revert to such diversiony tactics and should be proud to have texture & taste
  4. I would sooner see all dogs forced to be leaded up than risk have anyone attacked or mauled becasue the dog is not under the owners full control. There are many things I disagree with on a personal level , but am able to accomodate restrictions on these becasue I realise there is a responsibility to to others. Im sure your dogs are loverly and playful like kittens, but there are many that are not and this is what the regs are aimed at. Swallow you pride and think of everyone else- including strangely, non dog owners who alos have a say in this matter.
  5. You may be right, but the only staffs/rotters etc that I have had anything to do with were invariably on the edge most of the time - their owners were scum it has to be admitted. The cold dead eyes of staffies and Pit bulls spook me still.
  6. as a veggie, I support his, but bear in mid that it would have to be very special given that pretty much everywhere offers some half decent ( if uninspired )veggie food of some kind.
  7. nmaybe they were hot on the trail of the white stuff 3 ?
  8. you really have far too much time on your hands if you set up a petition like this. Macho dogs like staffies and their ilk are loathsome and should be put down anyway.
  9. hahaha. Ive heard its Ant Gormelys new project. Obviously Im not going to state that every shop on LL is a capitalist enterprise and they want your money, but in the big scheme of thing, there are far more deserving oppotunities for a bit of agit prop vandalisim than this lot. Then again, a nice bit of virgin marine ply really is presenting a fantastic opportunity for a bit of scrawling. Its very badly done - but maybe thats the red herring...maybe it was executed so amaterishly to give a false trail for the fedz ..
  10. Tip -if you do find that your bins are overlowing, bag up a load of rubbish in a thick bag and leave it outside with one of those bogus " please give to charity/ help people in Eastern Europe " leaflets attached to it( as they tell you to ). these wonderful people will actually come and collect you shiete and whisk it off, no questions asked. Fetid nappies seem to be especially apprciated by them

  22. yes. And im not telling you wot street I live on/in either Brixton isnt as far away as you think - although Im sure many of EDs upwardly mobile inmates like to think of the colourful gun n crack filled streets of Brix as being another world

  24. Im am sure most women can manage to spare a bit of time during the day for card shopping - after all, the Kids are in school, it takes 10 mins to tidy up and the menfolk are earning money for the family - that means about 5 hours a day is effectively " free" for shopping, poottling about, coffee etc
