Its not legal to sue tix that have not been sold to you for games like this. the rushing of the gates is apalling, whatever the alleged circumstances that may/may not provoked it. And uas much As I hate bring this up again, Liverpool are not exactly squeaky clean with regard to rushing the gates at matches/ forged tickets/ leaping the turnstiles. they never learn.ever.

Oh yes - several thousand ticketless Scousers tried to crash the turnstiles last night leading to approx 184 arroests ( latest count). lovely people.

If you go into Blackfriars from Denmark Hell, on your RH side near Th Elephant station, there is a 20ft tall Fibreglass statue of VI Lenin on the roof of what I think is a Movie/ TV supply bits place. Im sure for a small amoutt of compensation, the company would be prepared to mount the 20ft high statue in the Middle of GG roundabout It is a replica of the one at the Finland Station in St Petersburg if My memory seves me right

Trains between London Bridge and ED stuffed.

actually people, this thread is going to die pretty quickly as its unlikely anyone is going to promote their paper thin absurd views and leave themselves open to pointed questions - so its lijkely to be one sided
-
agree Ditto racism - But I have no desire to see the BNP shut up legally - they should pretty much be allowed to speak their mind and be answerable for their proclamations - in their case, i would show them to be the utter wnkers that they really are. With religion, you cannot probe too deeply, as there is a point when the walls come up and the defence of "insulting my belief" stops any further didcussion.Usually anyway

I may be ethnic Scot and have a certificate to prove I was born within sight of the gently lapping waters of Loch Lomond, but I have a PL team that I support. Ish.Though the last time I saw them was in Oslo in the UEFA cup a couple of years ago - I cant be arsed to pay the money to see them in London. I also pay particular attention to the mighty Lions results - no one likes them , but they dont care.
-
They dont. They are conscious decision made to embrace a set of belifs or lifestyle. Unfort. this means it is a handy defence. " I think gays are scum and should be shot" = custodial sentence "I believe because of my religion that gays are scum and should be shot" = perfectly acceptable , as its "belief"
-
Unfort. Not - Most of the Old Firm suporters dont support the Scots - usually England or Ireland.

Established heirachical religion invariably has to deal with such questions on a daily basis and have had a millenia to come up with answers that are enought to saite the proles simple queries ,yet keep the religions themsleves in control. You also have to remember that for a long long time, if you had brains - like propa hard core genuis - the only places you were likely to get educcated until recently wuiz by the church directly or indirectly - most of the brains of society were skimmed off by gods followers and put to task spending their life on such philisophical cobblers as " do babies who die at birth go to heaven ?" when you have the best brains in the country employed by the church, thye can get away with more than you would beleive this is probably better suited to a God thread tho'

Basta! I recently went to Bari for an important Football game and I wasnt supporting the Italian team if thats a clue!

A depressing if realistic viewpoint Nero. I did note that the Mirror Journoette who got the filth involved in that Brit bloke ( cant remember his name ) was rather forthcoming to all and sundry aftet he was taken in for questioning - even to the point of saying things along the lines of " there was something funny about him that I couldnt put a finger on" and " he had funny eyes" a rather irresponsible brace of statements that will define the future career path of this sad little attention seeking hackette one way or another. Unless there is a dramatic development very soon - I dont have to say much more I think - the papers will let this whole storys slide as nee subjects come into focus - you can see it already, the tabloids are moving this to page 4+ rather than 1&2 .

Dont assume I'm English!

no. I can never support Liverpool.

Of course not - you emply the best doctor for the job - there is no "standard" Doctor - all have their steenghts and weaknesses - further , in a door team you should have a fine balance of meathead steriod filled attack dogs and people who can talk, persuade and pacify.Unfort. you do not find many women are of the meathead steriod variety. There is always a plce for men bouncers. With my wage slave team members/monkeys , I find it is best to get a balance - a mix counters the excesses that can bubble to the surface in a spehere dominated by one sex. Have in a female or two on pub or club door is a more balanced & responsive situation than having one sex only
-
Did i say I am not bothered by it ? I have experienced both Mark Warner and have sub School age kids, so It is a rather crass and arrogant assumption to say I am not bothered by it. My post was merely questioning the trend towards mass mourning/minutes silences/manipulation by the press in the past few years. Why do many people - tens of thousands - now feel to urge to go to this child myspace site and register as " friends" ? or light a candle ? What good does it do apart from make yourself feel better ? Im sure psycologists would provide a much more interesting take on this whole scenario Whilst understanding that this is a terrible situation , I cannot understand why there is a thread about people you dont know, who dont live in your town or county, with whom you have no connection with apart from maybe a similarity in the ages of your children or whatever.

Female bouncers are a benefit in most cases - I have some experience in this raea on a professional level Un reconstructed macho W/Class males tend - on the whole - to view women as the fairer sex , irrespective of the advances towards equality on the past century and are far less likely to "kick off" with a femal bouncer tha with a male one when they are full of ale. A muscle bound bouncer ususally comes ion for more stick from these macho fellows that a smaller one. Its all abour competition. Further, Drunken W/Class females tend to kick off with relative impunity with bouncers, fairly safe in the view that they are unlikely to get dealt with in a particularly curt manner, due to the same reasons outlined above - i.e. Most bouncers tend to me W/Class males with a standard set of values regarding women. Female bouncers tend not to have as much retaliation against them when they intervene and as a bouncers role is to defuse rather than fight, women have an added advantage in nearly all cases and are able to use their ( mother like ) authority to placate testosterone filled drunken men..The only disdadvantage is possibly in sheer muscle should a whopping scrap kick off, but most women who are bouncers are usually trained in a martial art anywway. Women Bouncers = win win for everyone

Ive said it before, but the sarnies in the CB are fasntastic, if a little ?. but you get what you pay for etc -
Comment removed as it would be an utterly futile venture to try discuss this situation sensibly and obejtively.

This whole scenario is eerily reminiscent of the Peoples princess wailing and gnashing of teeth business of a decade ago. yes it terrible, yes its apalling, yes its sad, but...As you said, I dont know them & I never will. I cant grieve by proxy I didnt have an all night candlelit Vigil when Linda McCartney died or for the dead of 911. I cant grasp how the parents may feel, but does anyone lese get get this slight feeling that something is out of kilter here ? and I dontr mean with the incident itself, but with our reactions and the way the public is being manipulated ? I had better back off also. I have just returned from Albania and had 4 year old homeless children dressed in rags hassling me for money. These kids were also sleeping rough and spending their time sniffing solvents as an escape - and the mountains of Northern Albania are still chilly even in April/May.The majority of the the kids in the world dont have a "childhood" as we know it.
