    True, throwing allegations of drug selling and taking is unadvisable, but we all want a quiet life. If someone's continually flouting a law, then I can understand why the offendee is getting cheesed off. Sure, noise will happen, but if there is a law that's designed to minimise it and it's broken, then a reasonable person would understand the complainer's annoyance. Nero

    It depends on who gets the nomination for the Democrats. I want Hillary to win. She's got experience and I trust her. I don't trust Barack Obama, because he's never had to prove himself and he is simply too green to be a world leader. His MLK/JFK schtick is annoying, too. Hillary just is, and she knows she's reviled by some people, but I don't think she lets it get to her. Nero

    The 666 on the way back after 9pm is OK. On the way into work it's poor. 63 is the way to go. Aldwych bus stop is underpopulated queue-wise, but the one at Somerset House gets busy with nary a civilised line to be had. Nero

    Look forward to a steamroom, but only if it doesn't heat up the rest of the building, such as the changing rooms. I prefer the gym to be on the cool side - you don't need a warm gym, shower room etc if you're sweating! Nero

    That parade of shops is on teh whole uninspiring and tacky. Lots of sprayed graffiti and the wiiiiiiide open pavement makes it feel like Ponderosa. Nero

    Also, which idiot decided to put a bus stand (not stop, as you can't get on or get off there) on the bus route just after the Red Cap? Now the 68s stop there, holding up the rest of the traffic for the drivers to change. Nero

    Gosh! I am usually the one to pick up on cliquey vibes, but I never felt out of place in the Drum, even though it is small and I was usually on my own there. Great sarnies, nice beer, good service and a nice, hybrid feeling. Perhaps I never went in enough to pick up on the negative aspects that others have noted. Nero
