...my prediction is that he's going to end up being a goody....somehow....

In terms of scores I think it would maybe just work best to say someone had to have done predictions for 50% of thee games per season? additionally you could have a champions league for those that had say done over 80% means you have to have done a reasonable number so lets class show through ; ). Don't scrap scores so far RD, that's a bit harsh on you/Jah/Otta etc who have done good

Er, in case you hadn't noticed Ridgley they are not especially popular anywhere. Still, I like his 'lefty foookers' retort to the high brow *debate* offered by soooo much of the left IE Tory Scum

In other news, jimmy Sommerville has been badly beaten up by a bunch of Dyslexics

if god had wanted football to be played on the ground he'd have filled footballs with grass and earth

I'd add Docklands museum (soft play/activity area) and the National Maritime Museeum at Greenwich (interactive play area and creative room - possibly better for slightly older ones).

But Otta, in my experience and others on here, if you don't have a pumpkin you don't get knocked so either your making assumptions about how intrusive trick or treating is or SE22 really is more genteel :)

Plus, there aren,t always an even number of matches so you need to actually do a mean of the mean

RD, well done buy can I give you a reality check. Bookies odds are more or less perfect - ie they reflect the narket (certain promos aside). This is especially true in big betted markest where thay have plenty of data (eg Premiership football). This maens that, in the long term, you'll break even if you predict perfectly ie the times you get it right you#ll be paid similar to what the likely probablity is. However good you are and on 3 weeks data (ie absolutely bugger all of a sample :)) you've startwed promisingly you#ll get bad weeks and lose plus you're not , with all respect likely to be perfect, so in the long term you'll lose. (add in tax etc) then it's even harder. It's why betting is really for mugs., unless you have better info or stats than the oddsetters. Do it for a season and I'll believe taht you could possibly make money on it, in the meantime you're just running hot as we say in poker. It's, in all likley, just statistical variance...sad, mathematical fact as that is. ...now trading, that's different.

I thought GK just took some of the other company's (including Scott's) equity - but not total ownership?

You can't have technology live in the game for this , that'd would inevitably lead to every near or in the box tackle going to the third referee/technology and would kill the flow of a game. What you CAN do, easily, is retrospectively punish players for clear dives, say with a 3v match ban that would quickly cut it out. Contact is contact, Torres was fouled.
-
..you can't have seen Breaking Bad then
-
If you get contact and go down that has to be *fair* although maybe not ideal, seriously in many cases how do you differentiate between a contact drive and going down involuntary? Can of worms, worse than now. I WOULD retrospectively have players banned for clear non contact dives I agree. Clattenburg has 24% of the Red Cards in the Premiership this season, the man is a joke.
-
Even the 2nd level characters like Mike, Badger et al are brilliant. Sol Goodman is foooking Shakesperian. Just brilliant for me.
-
You idealist you, can't agree. You'd have to change the rules and then that change would make it absolutely impossible for referres, contact=not a dive IS clear. Some terrible offside decisions this weekend benefitting Arseanal, Man U and Everton. At least the Hammers were taken apart fair and square!
