  4. Yellow card and no cigar....open goal missed
  5. Good work RD. Happy I am top (with Jah) this week but happier that I am ahead of Mick in the league :) On the actual footy, given how Reading and Saints are doing I am really impressed with West Ham's position, they are playing some decent hoofball ;)
  6. Agree though mick I know what I am doing if someone interfered who didn't or I didn't respect I am out with no problem, I can't be arsed with any of that- that's age/experience/confidence whatever.
  7. I have no corporate ambition in me. I think my bosses job stinks as do most of the top jobs in big companies, too much politics, too many ambitious reports, too much work interrupted by too many meetings, too much pressure. But I may well do my own thing again, but probably just me, not building a company again.
  8. Bloody hell mick were you putting that sort of wedge on a 20/1 shot!?
  9. I am the company expert in my area so I broadly control myself, but as I've worked for myself and been a co-owner of a company I have totally controlled myself in the past so I thought I,d find it more difficult but my boss lets me do my thing and I drive what we do after been given overall business objectives, so have independence but some of the advantages of a big company too. However, I had to do an earn out having sold a company once and I found that quite difficult. At home it's my missus, as you know mick.

Rubbish, it failed miserably and almost systematically for years on the abuse and more recently by , at best, ignoring it. Not the only guilt party but so what.

The system incorporates value rather than just a binary over/under choice. Still a small loss thsi week. Well done Mick btw........did that come out begrudginglu enough :)

  14. Now you all know ho I feel about f*cking Prosecco
  15. the-e-dealer Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > If the Limp Dems weren't propping up the Tories > they wouldnt be in power! Simple! If you want to see what would be happening if Labour had won just look accross the Channel - useless ineffective govt/debts rising/deeply unpopular. They (Labour) would have been decimated at the next election, If I was Ed M and Ed Balls I'd be absolutely delighted to be exactly where they are now. RE Ed Milliband, personally I think he has grown into his role and is more convincing that last year when I thought he was a basket case for Labour.
  16. The Liberal democrats aren't changing their policies they are in a coalition as a junior partner, they have to compromise, that's being in a coalition govt. Their raising of the lower tax threshold for low eraners is to my mind one of the key policies that they've got accepted. I'll probably vote for them again, I certainly won't be voting for any party that doesn't take a responsible attitude towards thr defeceit and public spending...and Labour look genetically incapable of taking any tough action in this area (plus half them are sponsored by unions that are on record of opposing cuts - go figure), I don't want a bankrupt country so will vote for parties who can convince me they don't....Labour have got a lot oif convincing to do (for me) as deep down I don't think most labourites supporters or party or MPs really get it. I'll even vote Tory if neccessary however rubbish thery've proved (and they have in many arenas) becuase they are ready to take responsible decisions and willing to look at reform to try anfg get our very neccessary public services working more efficiently, and n some areas are suceeding. Think the LDs will get slaughtered though as most people don't like reality much.
  17. Do Waitrose do pop-ups?
  18. 1.66 has a bit to do with it, plus didn't come up on my 'system' :)

  20. My average's been bought down by running the Spuds 0 - anyoneelse 8 joke for too long...take note before your next Hmmaers 0-4 defeat prediction mick....er, maybe not this Saturday
  21. Whilst it is great that establishment Peadophiles are now being exposed and long may it continue, the BBC should really be arranging words like Bolting, Door, Stable, horse, after, long, gone and taking a long hard look at themselves

  23. ...er, Dangermouse surelly EP?
  24. ...doing a Travis/Blackburn as it's known in the trade...
  25. I'm with SJ. If it's going mainstream then you scrap it and let people listen to Radio 5 or whatever or, given the remit of the BBC, you let some of the more outlying stuff, especially when it's around a unique talent such as DB go on and ignore the commercial/ 'audience' figures bit. I suspect he's tricky to 'manage' tho
