  1. Letter from Scott Parker Dear Supporter I want to start by saying thanks once more. Not just for making me Hammer of the Year again but for backing us every step of the way in what has been a really tough season. We know this year hasn?t been good enough. Even though I was delighted personally to pick up awards and get back in the England team, I would have swapped it all for the team staying in the Premier League. Unfortunately that didn?t happen but this as an opportunity to rebuild a squad that will get the club straight back up to where it belongs and to build on that over the next three seasons ahead of the move to a fantastic new stadium. What I do know now is you will be needed like never before. I am absolutely sure the team can bounce back quickly and make you proud once again. I know the players will be determined to make up for the disappointment of last season and what is really exciting is that there are several young players who are ready to step up. They can be part of this club?s future for a long time. I know from first hand that there is some exciting new talent coming through the ranks to stake a claim. Together in the new season, everyone starts with a clean slate and the club has the chance to make sure this new chapter in West Ham?s history is as exciting on the pitch as it will be off it. All the lads will be doing their best to make that happen but as a team ? players and fans together ? is when you can most make things happen. Thanks again for your fantastic support ? you?ve been amazing and I hope you stick with the team on the journey to bigger and better things next season. Come on you irons! Scott Parker No.8 Where's the PS - Will be watching your progress keenly from the Emirates next year :))
  2. So the Olympic bid was won through bribes DF?
  3. Have we had Marcia Griffiths yet? Feel like Jumpin' Worth hearing it again anyway
  4. So Quatar's bid makes sense and ticked all the FIFA Requirements? FIFA said that our bid was the best prepared and we demonstarted and convinced on all the requirements of the, ahem, Official Bid requirements.....not so good on the unofficail ones apparently Not trying to take a massive moral high point here on behalf of a crappy organisation like the FA just happen to believe that that FIFA is corrupt through and through...and we'd have hosted a great World Cup. You think that Quatar will be a great World Cup? Enjoy.

That was realpolitik. If they'd known the result beforehand (like Russia did) they'd have been braver. No one is claiming they are great...England's World Cup would have been
  6. It may sound bitter, etc, etc - But England would have hoasted an absolutely magnificent World Cup - all games sold out in fantastic stadiums with significant support for all teams...instead we have semi-dictatorship Russia and disaster in the making Quatar. Idiocy. FIFA Corrupt twats that make the FA look efficient and ethical

  12. Tullett Prebon warned clients the outlook for growth was "exceptionally bleak" due to Britain's addiction to householders' debt and public spending. .... and that's the Conservatives fault is it? Of course we are in the shite, we've an overmollycoddled population, unsustainable public spending commitments given demographic changes ...the only way out of this is becoming more competitive and entersprising....taxing the shite out of entrepreneurs, successfull businesses whilst maintianing unsustaianable public sector rights/pensions and spending designed for very different circumstances is not ...Labour and the Left and the majority, but not all, Unions, certainly don't seem to have grasped any of this
  13. Long term Brendan, next Thursday

  16. Sorry, I actually meant Kinsey, got my Sexologists mixed up. I'll fill in your survey - just explain your sample honestly in your report ;-)
  17. Actually and observationlly, most of the properly intelligent men I know seem to be partnered with equally intelligent women so some sexist horrendous crappy steretypes going on here....from the ladies. Most of the men I know with 'bits of trinket fluff' (mmmmm) are themselves of the dense variety.

Or....Islington/Holloway Road/Archway/A1 (Holloway can be the problem)....but I'd tend to go M11/A1 The M40 for York Ramble!!! behave....gotta to get there (round one of the M25's busiest section by your route) then you're vearing NW. plus going round the Motorway from M40 to M6 Then somehow accross to M1?? head NE on M1 then leeds to York, etc etc must be nearly 100ish more Miles than A1 (surely)? *takes off anorak

  23. Without opening a can of worms, the whole 10% of the population is gay comes from a very spurious bit of research but has become FACT fot instance> Hitte(?) reserach was a sampple of those that replied to an advert to do a survey on Sex in a Boston Newspaper or something similar. 1/10 of the population may or may not be the right figure but the 'reserach' didn't prove it.
  24. Quids...please keep it quiet
