  1. Smileys are a bit crap but the amount of times I think surely someone won't take this (mine and others' posts) seriously and they then do.... I think 'swt' as in 'Smiley whinky thing' is better shorthand. Personally I like, nay even love some of the ** they often are clever and funny *flicks Vs at Annasfiekd* :))
  2. Apologies admin. My post was in response to his garbage about 'guts' - I probably wouldn't have posted if I'd seen he'd been banned again as I wasn't trying to dig once he'd gone
  3. .
  4. unintentional comedy genius
  5. Can't you down load your bankstatements?
  6. I'm a dj fan for dancing
  7. Now we're on eyes can we go back on topic...stevie wonder's genius

Backgammon Poker Dogging It's all on the EDF
  9. Politicians in France always strike me as among the worst for "We know what's best for you plebs" Libertie, Fratenetie etc...bring on further european integration *sighs*
  10. Don't worry. I didn't make the grade in Lewisham & Greenwich 2nd division
  11. By the way, I think Essien's loss to Chelsea is a huge blow. He's on of my favourrite players in the Premiership and they're not as good without him. More hope for Arsenal.
  12. Sunday Football - Lewisham & Greenwich League, division 3, right midfielder then rightback (age related move), retired 1993 :-$ Play five aside still
  13. I've lost that hat. If anyone finds it can they pm me...I left my baccy in it
  14. I agree and I'd add Jamie/Hugh/Gordon et al to that list too Sean
  15. Harry Redknapp=Fagin
  16. Post 1980 - Ashes To Ashes is a decent album and not post 1980
  17. Well the Genoese probably don't as they're from Genoa Sean.. People are going to Geneva and it actually a very nice city - clean, pretty crime free a bit dull maybe but pretty near some great cities of europe and the alps of course. High flying traders, although not neccessarily nice or even worthy, are not easily replaceable, their skills maybe particularly 'unuseful'altruitically but they are sharp, intelligent and brave and live daily by their results (none of this makes them nice or worthy by the way)...makes me laugh that people think it's sooo easy. You, I most of us couldn't do it...sorry folks. But the point is as I've said this tax won't raise much, risks London's status and our economic health but the gallery love it...your normally pretty scornful of Daily Mail rabblerousing but seem well behind it on this one Sean. And yes they are the evil bankers, just look at some of the posts on here, generalisations etc - let alone the front pages of the Mail. Structural reform - legislation - removal of the absolute freedoms the banks have operated in (given by the Democrats and Labour incidentally) all should be looked at..but a playing to the gallery tax to try and save Gordon's skin that risks the economy of our country...no thanks. It's like a punch & Judy show. BOO HISS Bankers. Unthought out crap swallowed by people who have thir own culpability in this mess and certainly by and large benefited from the cheap, easily available boom money, tax receipts, rising asset prices and probably false sense of affluence it all created.
  18. well that was 1983ish (?) and ok as a single, don't think the album is up to much
  19. ..classic cross posts (in more ways than one ;-))
  20. I think you look great in one Brendan...think about your image not your comfort.
  21. Sean's trying to convert me to post 1980 Bowie....with mixed results but I've certainly moved on from refusing to listen (as far as post 1980 Bowie goes anyhow!).
  22. I'm uncomfortable with the 'state' telling anyone how to dress
  23. Have the Stones done anything decent past 1978ish? Although they've effectively their own tribute band since 1980

Still can't get the picture up...:-$
  25. ... this week I give you Stevie Wonder Motown stuff in the 1960s showed enormous talent but for me his three consecutive albums of the mid 1970s - Talking Book, Innervisions and Songs in the Key of Life are up there with the best albums of any genre for innovation, songwriting and arrangement. For R'n'b/Soul..in terms of albums I'm not sure if they've been bettered. ... Absolute crap past 1980 which I think has detracted from the blokes' genius
