Tevez is and will always remain a hero to me - with the exception of united he's almost universally loved by the fans of all the clubs he's played for. I wouldn't know - being a signed up member of the grumpy old man club I gave up listening to anything new in about 2002ish. Nothing my nephew, mates' kids, trendy dads play has convinced me there's anything new that does it for me but as I said I can't say I've tried very hard. Infact, I've been more inclined to delve back into music from the past that i didn't listen to back then...even some 'Progressive'

Oh brilliant! I'd call that a Troll post if I didn't actually know you... People with positions which have authority however badly payed etc etc should do their jobs legally and properly as a matter of principle in any job.... are poorly paid jobs somehow exempt from this? What sort of logic is that? T Too many Traffic wardens don't. As this example shows in terms of their parking - but more importantly should do their jobs fairly in terms of ticketing...which they don't as many of us who have actually had to fight their totally dodgy ticketing have shown on numerous occasions on here. If you could move your position away from your dislike of cars Sean and get your head round the fact that many tickets ARE completley dodgy and this is a FACT not some car drivers conspiracy to have a free for all parking enviroment, which most sensible car drivers understand would lead to chaos. An unreasonable number of tickets are issued when no parking offence has occured for whatever reasons (and I know what I think causes it) I won't bore everyone with the 2 tickets I've got off becuase they were just plain wrong but will happily tell you if you're interested. I've paid 2 others because they were technically legal (6 mins on a 5 minute zone outside a nursery being extremley unfair although legal).

Most people I know drink more than this... you can argue about how these limits are scientifically 'got to' ie they differ considerably between different countries but I think most drinkers exceed these in reality. Apparently Doctor's double what their patients tell them they drink as a matter of course. 21 units is 10 pints of average strenght beer (ie cooking lager or traditional bitters)

In all reality, on the whole all he's guilty of is spending too much time on one of the more traditionally supported footbal teams' forums and baiting Guardinitsas online by challemging orthodox liberal views...ain't so bad way to behave ;-). Good piece on this in yesterday's Observer (which I accidentally bought instead of the NOTW) which concluded the freedom of speech the middleclass parts of internet is 'free' as long as you tow the liberal line...if you don't as a journalist/public face they'll be massive twitter/facebook campaigns launched against you...

Very happy with that dull point - now a bit more off the bottom with by far the best goal difference down there and most of the bottom teams still to play at home. I also hope that Capello is considering Parker for England and Milner should be going for sure. All in all a poor weekend for the pretenders at the top just Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal in it. Finally a special thanks (not) to the Spuds - drawing at home to Hull at home after their losing to Wolves...cheers for your help :X

SNDC is a non-event really

Don't get me wrong, I love a night out PERIOD. Saturday nights are good. More chance of a leisurely day, bit of planning, people tend to have parties or dinner parties, yada, yada yada. But Friday nights...absolutley love 'em. Finish work and get right on it. No 'Going home to freshen up' malarky. Best night of the week, always has been (despite the amateurs). I've got Friday on my mind! (PS all academic wishful thinking as I hardly ever go out ever now i've 3 kids under 5)
