  1. He may not like this because it does smell but Elisabeth Arden eight hour cream is really good. My grandmother used to put it on my sister's face when she had scars from chicken pox as a baby. Also there is a cream developed by plastic surgeons (the late Martin Kelly and others) to aid the scarring process called Heal, you can order it online. C xx
  2. One born every minute is on tonight girls! Think I will brave it and no doubt will be crying my eyes out - always do even without pregnancy hormones...
  3. Many Thanks Sophie, Really looking forward to seeing those of you that can make it. Saturday marks 31 weeks for moi. Seriously time is flying by...I was told that pregnancy drag on and on...not so in my case. I am not ready - is there a pause button to press somewhere? Anyway - back to work. See you sat! C xxx

  8. Coutjc, Many thanks again really appreciate all your tips and help. Looking forward to meeting on Sat and learn more from you, I need all the help I can get. No luck with physio yet - like you said NHS takes ages so will go private.
  9. Thank you Elsie Tea and Ramble66. The pain is mainly located to the front and worse on the right side than left. It is strongest in the groin area on the right hand side. It feels almost like a dislocation of the joint if that makes sense. I also have a lower back pain on the same side, more like an ache than a shooting pain and am not sure if this is related. Again thank you everyone
  10. Hey all and thank you so much for all your replies. Countjc - Thank you so much for your post and all your tips. I will see you sat and we can chat more but in the meantime your tips are very helpful, will get on to the physio straight away. Thanks again I really appreciate it.
  11. Hi all, Looking for some help from the more experienced mothers out there. I am expecting my first in March (28 weeks now) and this past week I have experienced excruitiating pain in my pelvis. It is worse at night time if I move position in bed but also things like getting dressed in the morning or stepping out of the shower almost brings me to tears. It seems to be worse when my legs are parted ie lifting one leg to put trousers on. It feels like if I have torn a muscle or dislocated a joint. I also suffer from a bad back but could see that one coming so have tried to prevent by stretching and training my core muscles. This pelvic pain though has knocked me for six - any ideas on things I can try to ease the pain? I am pretty desperate (as is Mr Midivydale...)
  12. Hey all, Gutted I missed you on the 8th but would love to join you on the 17th if that is ok?
  13. Hi all, Hope everyone is well. I too have suffered with this awful cold this week. Feeling abit better but worried I would pass it on to the rest of you so will stay in bed this evening. Gutted as I am really enjoying the meet ups but hope you will all have a great time. Love C xx

  17. Re- Dentist Hi all, J0 - I think it was you that was after a denstist. I have been today for my check up at the Dulwich Dental Clinic (I think that is what they are called). They are on lordship lane and their number is 020 8299 1334. I havent got much to compare them too as I have always been with them - but they are good. / C x

  23. Hi all, It was really nice to see you all and I too would love to meet again, late November sounds good how about Thurs 24th? Happy with Green and Blue or do you prefer another venue? Let me know and I am happy to book. Had 22 week scan today - all is well thankfully and we managed to contain our curiosity and so remain unaware of the gender so far:)
  24. Hi all, Helen - Many Thanks for finding us and posting. I am sure that there are plenty of us that would love to hear about your services so let us come up with a separate session as per Jenny's suggestion. I too, would prefer to have the 3rd as social get to know eachother session. Jenny - How exciting with second scan and congrats on your boy! I realise I come across as somewhat of a stalker of this thread with my every day posts - the shame! See you all Thursday - hope you can make it Rosie!
  25. Twins! Yay! Lochie - I hope you and bump are recovering well! I know what you mean about the WG ward, I told my partner that I felt it was like spending 4 days on a liveshow of Jeremy Kyle;) Having said that the medical care I received from consultants and midwives alike was amazing and I now feel strangely reassured about giving birth there - at least from a medical perspective....
