    This is one of my favourite opening scenes after that I was well and truly hooked. The fact that Colm Meany is in it as a twisted cop with an obsession for American TV shows and mystical celtic "artistes" was a big bonus

I said i was not acting in that capacity in direct answer to your question which is absolutely true.     I'm not acting as administrator or even moderator antijen, nor do I think you are breaking any forum rules. Administrator himself can maybe clarify on the whole IP thing But there is a lack of tact in some of your posts which have rubbed me up the wrong way so I called you on it, that's all. You seem happier dishing out insults than taking them, regardless of their foundation. That's nothing to do with forum rules, just bad manners

One person can't handle that much truth Antijen I could never be a doctor for the simple reason that if anything were to happen to you which required, say a trip to ER, I would have to fix you up regardless of how patronising, petty, misanthropic, spiteful and wrong you are.     aicardo - what is it you need that you can't get. It sounds like you are in a similar boat to me but with the exception of fresh meat, I can easily put my hands on anything I need (usually from the Turkish Shop next to Chener Books)

    Yeah I know there are those things - but is there that much volume? Some people seem to be regular users. If I had to send a lot of parcels for example would I not be better off setting up an account with UPS or whoever and having them come pick up? More expensive I'm sure - but then cheapness = less staff = more queues. So you makes your choice etc.. I dunno, I'm mostly curious.

    I get why some people want post-offices to stay - maybe older people who are comfortable with the familiar But I don't understand why most other people complain about them and the service they offer. Not that I'm defending the service, I'm just curious as to why so many people need to use them. In 40 years I think I've been in one maybe twice and both times as a favour to someone else. What is it they do that you can't do elsewhere?
