    with the Hamlets strip, there is more than enough camp to go around! as for the Diesel's - what can I say. They weren't bought especially (as you probably know I tend to go around looking like that most of the time when I'm not work-bound) but they were an emergency purchase from a limited range last time I was in Devon

    That's a fair silly comparison SteveT if you don't mind me saying - litter is EVERYWHERE and despite the fines you mention it still hasn't stemmed the tide much Before we suggest how rubbish the police are, how best do you think something like this should be tackled? Practically and with due thought to budgets/priorities/etc. I'm not saying it can't be done... just isn't as easy as seeing someone chuck a cigar butt.

I believe both Sosh AND Tosh won't be able to make this one but Ms B, please don't let nerves stop you coming along. I've been in your place too and was glad overcame them.     Exactly the reason this sort of debate is a Good Thing. I too think Monica's contributions to the debate are great - partly because someone needs to make the case she makes but also for the fact that, despite still disagreeing with most of what she says, I find her passionate and I always read what she writes

    * does a quick search for that sketch in The Simpsons where someone goes to Starbucks only for the shutter to slam down - the camera pulls back and you see shutters coming down in every Starbucks in the world. the a little LED appears on each shutter saying "Temporary shutdown - Commencing Phase 2" * * can't find it and figures the description will have to suffice *
