  1. 3pm good for me. The weather is looking a bit iffy for this afternoon so meeting at the cafe first sounds like a good idea.
  2. I have an Elle baby care tens you are more than welcome to borrow. You will need new pads but they are available from Mothercare. PM me if you would like it.
  3. If you decide it is colic, try Colief. It worked wonders for us. You add it to their milk to neutralise the lactose. It is available at the chemist or on prescription.
  4. Hi everyone Is anyone up for meeting tomorrow afternoon? Perhaps we could meet in the new cafe at the Gardens if the weather is nice and perhaps combine with a stroll around Peckham Rye park? Would be great to see everyone Victoria and Emmy xx
  5. Unfortunately we are not going to make it today, but hope to catch up with everyone soon x
  6. Congratulations! Don"t know if you are aware, but a tounge tie can be easuly fixed. I would book in for it as soon as possible. I don't know the details myself, but it has been discussed on the forum before so do a search and something should come up. Good luck x
  7. Emmy and I are aiming to be there too, looking forward to seeing everyone.
  8. Thanks everyone. I did recall a previous thread on this subject, but when I searched nothing came up. Is anyone able to point me in the right direction?
  9. I would be interested to know what others thoughts are on the BCG vaccination for small babies. We have been sent an appointment for this week when my daughter will be 4 weeks old. It strikes me that this is very young for such a nasty jab, and we are still in the process of establishing breeatfeeding so would be reluctant for any side effects of the jab to interfere with this. Has anyone else had their baby vaccinated at this age, and if so, how did they react? Thanks in advance.
  10. Sorry, I am unlikely to make it as I currently have a puking toddler to contend with. Really hoping I make it next week
  11. Really sorry but we are busy today. Looking forward to catching up next week, or sooner, if another meet up is arranged.
  12. Good luck Paula! Will try to ake it today, but we are a bit all over the place with feeds and naps so will have to see how it goes.
  13. My little girl, Emmy Grace, was born this morning at home in record quick time! Hope to be up to meeting up next week x
  14. Congratulations Sue, fantastic news. No baby for me yet, but had a rough night so going to give this adfternoon a miss. Hope to see you all next week x
  15. Hi Fuschia The current plan is to meet on Tuesdays at 3pm in Green and Blue. Hope you are doing ok Victoria x
  16. Good luck Kirsten, hope it all goes well, and sorry to hear you have been suffering. Now officially overdue as well, sigh. On top of that midwife visit yesterday resulted in a 4 hour stint in the MAU after she found a very fast heartbeat, but all seeemed to be fine after a couple of hours on the trace. Can't wait to get this little one out now!
  17. Hi everyone Hoping to make it tomorrow, look forward to seeing you all there. I am due Wed though, so like Penny and hoping perhaps not to be there! Victoria
  18. Congratulations on he births of Zoe and Rudy, and good luck for Thursday C! I am free Friday if that suits everyone. Victoria x
  19. Hi Sorry not to have made it this afternoon, a delivery I was waiting for has not yet turned up. Hope to see everyone soon. Victoria
  20. Hi both Am going to try to make it today as well. We usually go out the back and get a table, as there is more room for bigger groups and space for buggies for those that already have their little ones. Hope that helps Victoria x
  21. If you search under my name, I started a thread about this last week. The government guidelines have recently changed and they are now recommending all women get the seasonal flu jab (which this year includes swine flu) as a high risk group. The NHS website has a lot of useful information
  22. Looks like we are actually a bit thin on the ground. Should we postpone until after xmas? There is a possibility of more snow overnight as well...
  23. I too had lovely hair and skin for number one (boy) and generally have looed a bit crap throughout my pregnancy so far with number 2 (a girl, if the scan is right), so maybe there is some truth in the girls steal your beauty thing. Looks like BabY B no 2 might be a girl! I too have no idea what I am going to do with a girl, just getting used to the little boy antics!
