  1. The forum has grown outwards and upwards since the old days, EDKiwi.
  2. I think this thread has been blown out of proportion a little bit. There is nothing new or controversial about a bunch of guys letching over female TV presenters, and teasing each other over their tastes. Women are no better, a lot of the time. The real controversy is that there appears to be different selection criteria for male and female news readers.

If you are referring to the whole "petuniabuttons" thing... I'm actually starting to suspect *Bob*.

There are Chinese shops in Peckham and Camberwell (Wing Tai?)
  6. Yes, there's a pool. It's on the roof.

Actually, Mrs Robinson "boutique" is the former Jerk Rock site. Can't help you regarding the previous occupant though.
  8. Perhaps streetcar might be interested in using the space?

But it does make it easier, without doubt.
  10. That's what I was thinking, annaj. You might also want to bear in mind the availability of on-street parking... are parking spaces in so much demand on your road that someone will pay ?90 a month?

  14. You can always go back and edit yours, using your special powers.
  15. I was not chastising you Dom. When I said it's "irrelevant"... I meant that it's a moot point, therefore I wasn't planning on arguing further about it. I wasn't having a go at you for going off topic. If my tone was slightly curt, it's just because I disagreed with what you were saying.

  17. So you've changed the picture eh, Ted? Why don't you just get in line with BBW for your turn with Gok Wan.
  18. Can't see that URL at work. Please give me a textual description.
  19. I think Gok Wan's probably more your cup of tea, BBW.
  20. Mockers, the top one is Katie Derham (or is it Gok Wan again... he is the master of the makeover, you know).
  21. I bloody love newsreaders. http://www.virginmedia.com/microsites/tvradio/slideshow/newsreaders/img_5.jpg http://www.performingartistes.co.uk/assets/photos/kate_silverton.jpg http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2008/07/01/article-1030742-01D0E2A500000578-806_233x540.jpg http://www.thehollywoodnews.com/artman2/uploads/1/natasha_kaplinsky.jpg

If they're unable to work or get on with their daily life, then yes. If they've got a few cuts and bruises (not meaning to belittle JoJo's experience) then no, it isn't! At least, that is my opinion. I expect you'll disagree. Anyway, it's irrelevant, as JoJo is only trying to make sure the pavement gets fixed, in the interests of public safety.
  23. We already have Lidl, Aldi, Asda in Peckham... so not too far away. If you're going to get in the car and do a big shop, an extra 5 mins journey doesn't make much difference. Paul's is OK, but you'd hope with the abundance of bakeries and cafes we have (blackbird, luca's, chandelier, petit chou, etc etc) they'd be able to come up with something better.
