  4. Highly recommend Walters family tae Kwon do classes. Sat morning at the Albrighton classes and weds 430pm at church on corner of Heber/Lordship Lane. Don't know website offhand but a google search should find a web page. Great teachers and club feel.

I think they are fantastic....tried to order a load more of the cheap ones but sold out!....bought extra of the blue ?6 one which are good value too....I prefer drinking from the adult flip top but actually went for the straw kid best seller ones in the end (sorry can't remember their names!) as the loop in the top makes them great for carrying/can just swing along!....no leaking as yet and we have been putting in freezer, not sure if it's good for them but a great idea....
  6. I know it's not as good as a museum but just for large space maybe a local school....could be quite a centrepiece/mascot for them....memories of 'the tiger clock'....I know nothing of spaces in schools but if not at The Horniman Museum maybe The Horniman School? Even as a temporary home....

  9. Every summer we try and buy the kids water bottles which leak or break in days... Any recommendations of decent, hardy ones (that maybe even keep the water cool for a bit)? Thanks

  17. Wandered into EAT on St Martins Lane nr Trafalgar Square to get sandwiches, ended up staying as discovered downstairs they have a table tennis table....boys loved it and place was empty on the Sunday so didn't have to share!
  18. Just walked-in on a Sunday for my 9yr olds cut at GK barbers (he'd asked to go back there), Melbourne Grove - ?8 cut, highly recommended...open 10am - 4pm Sundays.

If like me you have the kids demanding an ice cream every day as the ice cream van hovers outside the school, then you might prefer to save your pennies and try the real stuff at Hope and Greenwood on Northcross Road. ?1.35 for a single scoop and continental cone....organic chocolate, salty caramel, strawberry, mint choc chip.... Just passed it after a great swim and was reminded what good value it is.....mmmm
  21. I know the bus I get from Victoria drops you just outside...my 'bus' recommendation is vague but you just ask them at Victoria bus station!...
  22. By bus I think the quickest route is 185 to victoria then another bus but can't remember which number from there...

  24. Any chance of feeding back to the organisers that a Sunday tends to be less busy for some families....every year we want to do this but have commitments on Saturdays....shame as sounds fantastic...
