  1. Keef, what an indiotic attitude. I cycle 18 miles a day too and from work, abide by the rules of the road, and still have a least one incident a week with a bus driver driving badly. What ever the circumstances - and I do see some idiotic cycling as well - what you can't forget is that a bus is a big, red metal object and a cyclsit is a soft squiggy one. I have had bus drivers try to run me off the road, cut me up, pull out in front of me, one guy cut me off last week to the point where I was forced into the curb and when I asked him why he did it he said he was in a hurry and he didn't have time to wait for me (this was on Blackfriars Bridge where I know of at least one cyclist fatality). When one of these guys hits me and sends me to hospital or the morgue I nominate you to go and tell my wife and child.

  3. What happened to Arsenal's youngsters tonight? And is it time to call time on Bendtner?
  4. I agree about the sarcastic clapping. It was stupid and immature and I thought he'd get sent off for it. Great result last night. We are getting to that nitty gritty part of the season where we see who's got what it takes. From what I read about last night Keane is struggling and with Torres out I wonder how much strength Liverpool have got both physically and mentally. Of course I'd rather see Chelsea win the league than Liverpool...hell I'd rather see Arsenal win it but I've got a funny feeling we are going to come out the other side of Christmas looking rosy....there, that's cursed it.
  5. Excellent LG. Taking points off Chelsea. Thanks for that. And a good result for us if a stupid sending off. This time of year is always interesting and I cant wait for Christmas especially with Torres looking almost as fragile as Stevie G when there's an international friendly on the horizon and Scolari making sure 'fortress Bridge' looks a bit crumbly.
  6. Surely lawyers and accountants are always the only winners.
  7. Bloody hell. An opportunity wasted tonight although I'm liking the fact that we've played the rest of the top five away now and let's face it Villa away is more of a challenge than either Fulham or Newcastle at home.
  8. It seems Aluminum was the wrong choice. I thought Fabregas was looking like he was on his way next summer.
  9. Well, it's not looking good for United this weekend according to you lot. Are you all banking on a bit of Gabby action? Who'll get the armband LG? I've heard anyone from Clichy - a bit random - to Alumina - not sure about that either - what about Silvestre? I'm pretty sure he took the role on a few times for us when others were subbed or is it too early in his Arsenal career for him?
  10. I thought that the gooners had got the better part of the Gallas/Cole deal when it first happened but it seems that William is a bit too quick to voice his feelings in public. I think he must be having some sort of slow mental break down since his floods of tears in the Eduardo game. Keano liked to have a go at players and fans alike but he knew how to time it a bit better I think.
  11. I've been quiet this season because I couldn't be bothered with the Liverpool love-in this place had become and constantly being accused of picking on you Annasfield. I think you'll find that after the two games this season we have lost (only two and our season is over and Liverpool are champions elect) I was on here and posted! Personally I am quite happy with the way things are going (apart from the loss to Liverpool of course) as they were saying on MotD it's not only Arsenal who have great youngsters coming through. As far as the Gerrard thing goes, he is constantly doing this same thing, he only ever seems to be fit for full Internationals and is always 'injured' for friendlies (I'm not saying he is the only one, I am sure there are examples of United, Arsenal (do they have any England players ;)) and Chelsea players who have a similar record). I think it's a good thing. I thought that the new idea was that if you were called up you went along, got assessed and then got sent back to your club if you weren't fit. I don't know why Rooney, Rio etc. weren't forced to report. If they had have been I wouldn't have complained, I don't think there's some sort of conspiracy against Liverpool and their oh so fragile players and I don't think that it'll do Gerrard any harm. I doubt that the England backroom boys were getting him to hop up and down on the spot on broken glass. Oh and I started a new job where fannying around on the computer isn't as easy as the last one :-$
  12. Oh I expect they enjoy persecuting Scousers. I see you highlight the Man Utd players again and fail to mention the Chelsea ones. Poor Stevie G had to drag himself - probably on a National Express bus? - ALL the way to London. I notice that unlike Rooney, Rio and the other shirker you forgot to mention, Wes Brown, Stevie managed a full 90 minutes this weekend, but suprise he isn't available for the England team.
  13. Twas a good game. Shame about the result but I'm sure even the Arsenal fans on the forum could have seen it going either way. Sadly I had to watch that game and the Liverpool game with two Liverpool fans. LG you predicted it this week I predicted it last week...."I did say I liked Spurs......Now I've said that we'll get shafted by Arsenal next week."
  14. I wish I understood what you are on about....:-S
  15. I did say I liked Spurs. Anna, it appears they saved you from any heart rending late comebacks. :) Now I've said that we'll get shafted by Arsenal next week.
  16. Zaki and Torres up front would be some combination. ;-)
  17. I was merely stating a fact Keef. :)) I thought he won the ball...only joking! Agger's performance must have had you missing Skirts though?
  18. And another weekend goes by with Liverpool only having to play ten men so all's well with the world.....
  19. I like Spurs but I liked them better when they had strikers...I'm afraid we had something to do with that.
  20. Very true. I suppose he could have been there with his family. My father-in-law is one of 8 and they have red and blue fans in their midst.
  21. Forgive the double post but I'm just watching the Everton 'Pool game. Wtf was that Liverpool fan thinking sitting with the home fans? He looked a little uncomfortable.

No, no, no Ruffers! You've got it all wrong we just LAUGH at City. Anna, Merde not demeaning but 'bin dippers' is? Seems like double standards to me... Oh and before you all jump on Ronaldo for diving (not an uncommon occurence and I'm not defending it also see Torres, Drogba et al) I was following the games on the BBC text service and they were saying that noone from United appealed for a penalty, not even Ronaldo.

Simon, I am glad WHU shafted you by playing Tevez. Yours a 'Merde Utd' fan.
