  1. At last, 'Arry might be found out.
  2. Well, we made a meal of it but got there in the end. It was one of those games where you know United will lose their concentration for part of it and let the opposition back into it. Like the league game against Hull earlier in the season.
  3. It's time to laugh at City again! How can you be the richest club in the world and not only fail to lure a player for half a million pounds a week but also lose your club and country record signing in the space of 24 hours? Oh, hang on, it's because it's City. :)) However, I am sure Craig Bellamy is going to set Eastlands on fire....
  4. Sounded like a typical derby to me. There was only ever going to be one result. Still a long way to go Keef.
  5. I'd rather lose to Chelsea than Liverpool. ;-)
  6. Get. In!!! Top of the League!
  7. Looks like we are going to drop two points. We need a favour from Everton!
  8. I was just bringing it up as a point of discussion. I would normally ignore stuff like this but there was a lot of doom mongering on the radio and it had me a little more convinced. I am sure there's nothing in it. oh, and we NEED a goal in the second half!

He has also trademarked CR9 in Spain. He will be gone in the summer, there's nothing new there. However, I think that losing your manager, which it looks possible that Liverpool might do, is more damaging to a team than losing one player. Sorry Matthew, I don't think there's any comparison.
  10. Just listening to Radio 5 and it all sounds a bit dodgy at Anfield. Apparently it was similar circumstances to these that led to Benitez leaving Valencia. They were also connecting the suprise (now Calderon has gone) Real Madrid presidential elections as maybe a tipping point for him finally taking his dream job there in the summer (presumably this will also be an excuse for Real to contiune the Ronaldo rumours). Interesting....
  11. About time for a fourth then, no? Come on the Toffeemen. :))
  12. So, Man City don't want Kaka any more, or they do and he wants clauses in his contract that Mansor will keep the club, they will have Champions League football in two years (don't make me laugh), they keep Robinho and he retains all his image rights. All that and ?175M. I think I'd put up with a bit of rain for that. Oh, and Rooney is out for three weeks. That should help ease the selection crisis.
  13. Ah, edgy towards the end but 3 points, second in the league and only two points behind the nervous Spaniard.
  14. As they say 'Liverpool, 30 miles from greatness' :))
  15. Blimey, by remote? From his hospital bed?
  16. Kaka. ?500,000 A WEEK! I nearly choked on my museli.
  17. Yes, bring it back I say. A good fight on a saturday afternoon. Weren't games much better then? ::o
  18. You speak the truth. My team are a bunch of low life, cheating, robbing, scumbags who couldn't win a football match if they were made to play fair. In fact, you know what? I'm going to change my team to Liverpool. they are so wonderful, genuine and blameless. Now how does the song go? You'll never walk again??
  19. It's getting to the point where all I do is laugh at your posts. You don't know a bloke called Atilla the Gooner do you?

And all the discussion on the pitch goes through your captain does it? I can't see any clubs adhereing to the respect policy, I don't think it's just United.

Fair enough. I feel bad now. He has totally lost his sense of smell too.
  22. I, like everyone else, am waiting for the day that I tune into a game being pundited by Jamie Redknapp only to find that his face has fallen six inches and he can only lift his eyelids halfway up his eyes. I don't like the man (Harry) and I never will. He is a crook and a turncoat. The only thing Appy Arry cares about is keep Arry Appy. That good enough for you Ratty?
  23. Ha, ha. More Liverpool conspiracy theories. It's looking more and more like Benitez isn't the only one who can't take the pressure.
  24. I watched the highlights last night and saw an almost identical kick from Lampard on Ronaldo in the first half. I'd also be interested to hear what you thought of Balletti's challenge on Ronaldo towards the end of the game? Lashed out once, didn't stop him, so scythed him down two footed, from behind.

I think there's two of you ranting now. It seems the pressure might be getting to a few people. ;-) As Ratty says, perfectly good corner disallowed against Chelsea, I'd have been annoyed and let's face it he rants and raves at everyone. Do I like it? No. But there's not a lot I can do about it and I love everything else about him (except where he comes from :-)) and I love his passion.
