  1. Me too. It lulls you bin dippers into a false sense of security...:))
  2. Anna, we still have a fiar few to come back into the team. Don't worry about us too much just yet.

  5. I hope you are right Jah but we've 'cursed' our fair share of great strikers.

But is he worth ?28M?
  7. Totally unbelievable. The whole game beggars belief tbh. Aren't Chelsea talking about ?78M for Kaka. What will his weekly wages be? Ronaldo wanted ?120,000 plus. ?13,000 is jobbing wages in the Championship now isn't it?
  8. An interesting precident? ?4.5M for a broken leg
  9. Hmm, been around for a week or two now as Spurs are holding out. I don't believe it myself but it'd be interesting. Personally thought that Nani, Fletcher and Campbell (Fraiser) looked good enough yesterday to create/score. No doubt we need another striker but I'm not sure if we are too desperate.

Oh well. That's right! He was supposed to defy gravity! Plastics forever Ratty!

  12. I'm in. humiliation awaits.
  13. I always said Ronaldo was a good lad.....
  14. One for the Charlton fans: Is Matty Holland STILL playing?
  15. Were you about to say the three magic words Bon3yard? "Top four place"
  16. A friend of mine worked on one of those undercover programmes on the subject of the Royal Mail. I seem to remember that there was an unofficial policy at the time that if the RM were using temp staff to do deliveries (which they do when they need extra cover during holiday periods) they weren't allowed to carry or deliver parcels and they were told to just fill out the red slips and post them instead. I believe it was in order to cut down on dodgy temp staff nicking stuff.

  19. I got as far as good luck. I'll take that thanks Ratty.

I am, at this very moment in time, tying a red handkerchief with white polka dots onto a stick and will throw this over my shoulder and go off in search of a forum where everyone thinks Man Utd are great....so there!
  21. Ok, ok, one rule for us etc etc. I see where this is going. Of course you are right Anna, forgive me for even arguing.
  22. Sorry Anna, but you are talking rubbish. The situation is not the same at all.
  23. Come on Anna! How is that remotely like the Real Madrid/Ronaldo affair? So, we put in an official bid, negotiations are on-going and Fergie is confident that we'll get him. That's not the same as Real talking up the fact that Ronaldo is coming to them, wants to come to them, will deffo be a Real player and them not actually putting any money on the table or making any official approach. I think you are being a bit disingenuous. The Real policy, much like Barcelona, is the same year in, year out. It's a systematic undermining of clubs and players and it's usually tied in with the club presidential elections and used as a tool to make the candidates more popular (usually through papers like Marca, which are effectively just a mouthpiece for the clubs). How many times over the last decade have we heard rumours about players that were going to be playing for both of these clubs, without a doubt, and the deal is never struck. It's brinksmanship.
  24. I can't find the interview on The Sun (I'm guessing this is the paper) so can't comment. But I wouldn't believe anything you read in that rag.
