I've known the Bellenden area for a few years now (in fact, it has been said, I put the bellend in Bellenden Road) and as far as I can see it's almost gone backwards. The 'Experiment' was great and there are some nice shops etc. down there but I think it has always suffered from being too small. It's not got the stock of premises to offer enough variation of shops or services imho.

See. We choked. I see the final slipping away.

Just to clarify, I wasn't gloating. I think we'll choke against Barca so I dare not gloat. ;-)

I love insects and to see them being mindlessly killed by roaming birds is very upsetting. I think they only kill 'for fun' too.

Oh I forgot that I am a cyclist and that I have visited Starbucks as well!

I cant stop my cat(s) from doing this, its just natural isnt it. Blimey with two cats, an impending birth and being a Man Utd fan I am looking forward to being one of the most unpopular people on the forum!

Surely us UNITED (Manchester) fans can relax now? Will we slip up in the league?

Blimey. The wife's due today and I am petrified of taking the newborn out! I will be getting hard stares from all the childless people and the mothers and fathers trying to run me down with buggies and steal my high chair. I think I shall just stay indoors.

Another wonderful day! And thanks for all the well wishers for the CL! Barca here we come.

We won't beat Barca. That's if we can hold onto our lead tonight!

Get over it. ;-) I'm going to be in my front room tucking into a take-away with him tonight. I shall be secretly hoping they win actually but don't tell a soul

Give me the United Calypso every time.

Are we going to have to sit through the usual ITV love-in "You'll never walk again..." scarf waving garbage at the start of the coverage tonight?

1-0 Liverpool I fear AND I have to watch it with the Scouse-in-law!

Harris Girls Academy ED - swimming pool
Sandperson replied to east-of-the-Rye's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Personally I think this school must be some sort of joke. If they are going to run a school as a 'sports academy' why aren't they doing anything to stop the girls getting on the bus for one stop (whilst clutching a bacon butty and a can of coke from the local cafe (oh and don't forget the packet of crisps for afters in your blazer pocket))? All I see on Cheltenham Rd is girls eating junk and screaming. How is taking away the pool going to help a sports academy? -
I wasn't saying I thought it was a dirty game or any more diving than usual just that Torres isn't averse to a dive. As far as the Hleb incident was a stonewall penalty. And as for the Hamlet, love it, Guiness, happy hour and a great view of the pitch from the bar.

I was keeping my I on the Senor last night and I have to say, I thought he was diving as much as any other Premiership forward. Not so squeaky clean after all.

I have to say Arsenal were robbed. Should have been a penalty. More hatred from both sides for me.

Interesting take Citizen. I am guessing it's not going to be popular.
