Boo Hoo. Sean, he was wittering on for the whole game (that he was on for). Surely you noticed all those teeth flashing away? Liverpool were beaten before he got sent off accept the fact that another season has gone by without a league win.

Big gob ran half the width of the pitch to have (another) go at the ref. Fair play I say. Let it continue. I wouldn't mind seeing a few more yellow cards for this sort of behaviour. Rooney and others at United should get the same treatment at times too. I also didn't think that Torres was fouled any more than say Ronaldo....

What a glorious and wonderful day.

Where are these 'handbags' from? I don't want no dodgy, knock off, North London rubbish.

I still can't understand how people can say they 'love Boris'. The man is a proven liar. He almost got his godfather turned out of Oxford when he made up a quote from him in his early days as a journalist and as far as I can see he has never looked back. This loveable, bumbling Boris act is just that an act. It's like I Claudius in reverse. I blame these free sheets they hand out on the buses. It's like Huxley's Soma, keep the masses entertained and not too mentally stretched and you can slip in your own Tory-led agenda without them noticing.

He winks to the left. He winks to the right!

Fair enough. And for the record, once again, I don't actually think Arsene is a pedo or gay.

I believe in the right circles your wit is compared to that of a young Stephen Fry! I bow to your greater humour.

I've heard the Sol rumours but not Theo!

Cassius. I was merely trying to highlight how we all hear the same old things trotted out about managers. As I said, Fergie's an alcoholic, Wenger's short sighted or whatever, Keegan doesn't know what he's doing (in this case it's true). Don't be so touchy, as a 34 year old football fan I've heard it all before, it's idiotic but it's just another way to get a rise out of a rival supporter. Do you really think that I believe Arsene is a kiddy fiddler? Of course I don't.
-
Oh come on. It was in the spirit of the discussion. I was making a point.

Ahh, that's better! It wouldn't be the same without him though would it Atila? Just think, no more 'Fergie time', no more 'disrespecting the traditions of the FA Cup'. No more 'red-nosed alcoholic' jokes. What would the Gooners do with their boundless wit? *After all, it's not like Arsene 'do you want a sweetie' Wenger likes to moan about matters football is it? He's almost single handedly destroyed the national game in this country by playing a team composed almost entirely of - shock horror - foreigners! He's also, allegedly, a pedalo and blind by all accounts. *Just an example of some United style wit! ;-)

SeanMacGabhann Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > The fact that they are by far (on their day) the > most entertaining football team known to man is a > joy Another thing that gets trotted out this season....what a load of rubbish. Entertaining? Meh. Good football? Yes. 'By far...the most entertaining football team...' I'd say Man U are easily as exciting every week. *Runs for cover*

Lozzy, you won't be getting up that hill into Crystal Palace for very much longer if you eat too many of those!

How close did the WW2 doodlebugs come to your house?
Sandperson replied to Muttley's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
The two houses at the north end of Anstey Road next to the new flats on the corner had their top floors blown off (by ordinary ordnance I think) which is why they now have no basements. The basements were filled with the rubble. -

More importantly no Carbonara. What's the point of an Italian without Carbonara? Si Mangia will still get my business then. -

Damn. What would have been good was if when she said "how did you know?" you replied "Your mother has come to me in visitation. She wants you to see the error of your ways and give all the money back." -

Tis the Aquarius. It's a bit of an odd course, worth going up to the clubhouse and asking for a look round as they are friendly bunch but I think it's ?300-400 which I thought waa bit steep. Beckenham is great. Really varied holes and some great challenges but the greens aren't always well looked after and you have to look out for hackers. I never sawa abloke in a buggy with a travelling tuckshop. Sounds good though. And their membership is a lot more reasonable.
