There's a primary school on Virginia Road (a short walk from the market) that opens its playground for parking on a sunday. I think it's about ?4 for the day. Very handy for Columbia Rd and Brick Lane.

Ah, Anna...you know that escort you wanted? Maybe I'm your man after all. Keef, get your stab vest out. :))

Lucky? Maybe. Messi was brilliant and the second half was nerve wracking. Edwin's kicking might have been erratic but you can't faulty his saves and shot stopping, I though that made up for it. Rio and Wes were great but my unsung hero was Park, I really enjoy watching him when he's playing and I thought he worked ao hard last night. Anway Simon, I'll take that luck.

I go and watch the Hamlet and Fisher pretty regularly. Always good fun with a few pints and pie.

Anyway, I'll be changing my support to Chelsea or Liverpool tomorrow after we get humped tonight.

The way you measure passion is that you support your club through thick and thin regardless of success, and you actually go to watch them as often as you can, home and away. So, you've just described me. We didn't win a title for the first 13 odd years of me supporting the team. We had some FA cup success. I have been a member of the club for many years and have travelled up to OT regularly over those years (there is no train back from Manchester to London on a week night after 930pm so this often involved ten hours driving and getting back home at 3 in the morning to be back at work the next day or sleeping in the station until the first train left). I've supported them away from home, one memorable game a few years back at the Library when we got thumped 4-0 in the Carling Cup. I've seen them win and lose, home and away. So you can call me plastic, glory hunter, prawn sarnie brigade what ever, I love my club and I always will.

Stb, makes perfect sense to me. The driving in the area is getting worse. Noone stops for amber lights (they barely pause for reds) and road rage and selfish driving just seem to be get worse.

Looks like you were right LG!

My point exactly. If I'd started supporting them in 1992 I would deserve all the glory fan jibes you could jam into a post but realising my love for a team on the play ground in about 1979 wasn't exactly following the trend, in fact if I'd been a glory fan I'd be a Liverpool supporter.

So, there's not a single Man Utd fan with passion or heart for the club? I wonder why 75,000 turn up for every game? I'm just as passionate about my club as you are about yours but this is a bit of a pointless argument as I am pretty sure there's no way to measure this.

Manchester or Salford we've won more titles than Arsenal and more European cups (even Villa and Forest have won more than your rabble), oh and more FA Cups as well. I can't stop smiling.
-
>:D< Been glory hunting for 30 years now. I have to say the last 15 or so have been pretty glorious. ;-)
-
Actually I come from closer to Coventry. They did better than United too with a draw against the mighty Wolves! You've been there, done that, got the t-shirt...just less times than Manchester United 9 to 3 in fact....oh and no European Cups. Come along try and keep up.

Great photo on BBC sport website with Evra with his tongue out. I bet Arsenal wish they had the opportunity to implode eh AtG...

This is also spot on. I had friends move from Northcross Road (after making a tidy profit on their one bed flat) to the regeneration area. They were easily able to afford the house and the refurb it needed but got a new roof and a substantial amount of refurb on the property through the regen scheme. Seems a bit off to me.

Yeah, it was a little embarrassing. I think it came so early in the game that they got over excited. Oh well, there's always next week.;-)

Yeah, I called it actually, I siad he put it over the bar. Still he has to miss the odd one 40 odd goals in a season would just be embarrassing >:D
