  2. Maid
  3. restrained
  4. Such a shame I can't come, but I might make a last minute appearance if my friend cancels. He's notoriously unreliable!
  5. Forgiven of course Rubsley. Though this isn't a "say the first thing that comes into your head" game, it's a "word association" game, so the only rule is, well, exactly that. And if you're trying to get a date on the internet it might we wise not to immediately confess that your last two posts are the words that immediately come into your mind. Just a friendly suggestion. Though I suppose it does depend on what sort of date you are after! Anyhoo, welcome to the word association game. Room
  6. Great minds think alike, handsome! Archbishop
  7. As I say, Troll. Henge.
  8. Hard to say Narnia but given the tone of the Lounge lately I thought it might be better to all play nicely for a while, specially on that subject. Just a suggestion. Load
  9. Either Rubsley is a troll or he's just explained why he hasn't been on a date for 34 years...... More

  11. Brendan - you do know you're talking out loud, don't you?!

Sorry AllyCat, no offence intended. I've been to the Curry Cabin quite a few times and always enjoyed it and if I wasn't otherwise occupied I'd be going there on 13th too. Hope you have a lovely time.
  13. Well it could have been worse. She could have quoted Bono: "A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle". Count yourself lucky. (And before anyone says it, I know that was originally Irina Dunn, not Bono, but I was just trying to keep the popstar continuity going....)

Oh that's where it went. Can I have my alarm clock back now please?
  15. Don't be deliberately difficult dear. You know what I meant. I wouldn't have dumped someone for Matt Dillon cos he has ZERO sex appeal and the emotional range of a teaspoon. Unlike the lovely Mr Izzard.
  16. Soft play at Beckenham Spa is good - much better IMO than Peckham, it's cleaner, bigger, better facilities for the little ones and on the spot coffee. Plus the parking is plentiful and quite cheap.
  17. I don't think I have ever been a beard, though of course that might be the whole point. If you're never going to come out that is. Kind of like George Clooney I suppose.
  18. I wouldn't. Now Eddie Izzard, well that's another thing entirely.
  19. Michael Palaeologus Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Excellent! Come to the Curry Cabin - thus killing > a number of birds with one stone. Would love to but the friend I am meeting requires serious and dedicated attention - not sure he'd appreciate a table full of people he doesn't know and a less than appealing hygiene rating!
  20. What's the Lesbian equivalent of a beard? (I don't mean face fungus, I mean when a gay bloke pretends he isn't gay and gets a girlfriend to make him look more manly. Girlfriend = "Beard")
  21. Eh? What's going on? The readers demand to know!
  22. Ladymuck Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > LB! I believe I shall be there too, with a mutual > friend of ours LOL!!!! Oh Blimey! I shall change venue. That wouldn't go down well with this particular friend of mine!
  23. karter Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > *picks up LB out of rain & throws her in g&b* Why thank you! Actually I will be in G&B that very night having drinks with a friend. For free. With a FAB hygiene rating. So feeling better already!
  24. Have a lovely time without me. (More sobbing)
