I've met many middle aged mothers who are very forthright when they perceive that their not-so-little darlings are being wronged and they are not necessarily willing to consider the other side of the story. So the fact that they are there BB does not indicate to me that they have not been sucked into the mob mentality. During the riots there were mothers urging their offspring to go into JB sports and get some free trainers.

The pelican crossing at the junction of Townley Road is a danger if there is a large van parked there so that you cannot see round the bend such as today. It is quite nerve-racking not to be able to see even though the green man is up -

I did it when I was about 14. The bag weighed a ton- especially on Sundays and I was always tired in school from having got up at 5am. I then found out that I was petrified of dogs so my parents let me give it up. I would not let my kids do it- it's inhuman and tantamount to exploitation of children. Newspapers have old news as well.
