Yes- noise pollution is a massive problem around here- since moving under the flight path I have had to wear ear plugs to sleep past 4 am (or keep the windows shut all year round-awful) ...not for everyone though- my brother in law tried them and he said it made him feel like he was dead...so Catherine W what are we going to do about the NOISE that keeps us awake?

I just looked at their housing strategy and it says that social, council and private housing will be indistinguishable in Southwark...well they should do the external decorations of their street properties because the peeling paintwork around window frames and doors is a dead give away....and unprotected wood does not age well and they will need to replace the rotting timber because they did not carry out this basic maintenance...and that will cost all council tax payers a lot of money

There is a disabled bay near me and the people who applied for it never park in it- in fact it is empty all the time that I have observed but they park their vehicles near the bay. This puts a lot of unnecessary pressure on the surrounding residents since many of the houses have been converted into 2 flats- seems weird to me

On the escalator there was an ad with hot cross buns with bacon inside them....just goes to prove how tasteless and mass produced they are now that you have to slap bacon in them ...yummy

He is very generous to family members- although they do not need the money......
