I?d say you?re liable for congestion charge (you were in the zone during chargeable period), but whether the cameras/system is able to detect your movements and conclude the same is the question. Would it not be worth trying it to see - pretty cheap for an entire days parking. And we?d all like to know !

Jesus - give the guy a break. He does loads for local community and his posts are always well-intended - hardly fair sport to pick on him, is it ?

I?d assume it was banned due to the prospect of one of the worst storms in several decades being due. A sensible decision, regardless of what today?s weather actually turned out to be.

You?ll probably have to deal with 2x contractors or use a building firm that?ll own the entire job. Had a similar issue a couple of years ago - plumbers would do the work once access to the water main has been provided for them. Did it myself in the end - used a Johnson fitting to join lead pipe after I?d cut leaking section out.

Worth keeping in mind for anyone that eats fruit by the crate load.

Yep just had a delivery from RM. (tbh I was more shocked to get an RM delivery at all, than I was to get a delivery during a storm 😳)
