  1. We?re getting Xmas cards posted mid-December. Clearly a service not provided according to what was paid for. Perhaps one way to approach this is for the senders to lodge complaints to RM (supported by confirmation from the receivers of arrival date).

I always thought it was Chinese water torture, but hey - I guess no-one?s got the monopoly on torture methods !!

I could confidently claim that a house on a busy street that becomes effectively a private street will become more desirable. To believe otherwise, in London, is folly. Why would anyone need evidence for that - it?s obvious !

    Dilemma

I got two cards today - gonna open them in a mo and put them on mantelpiece with the others. Only fair to the kind senders. And the Xmas tree stays until it starts to shed, last year that was March!! 🎄🎄🎄
  5. ? Lot of ignorance here.?
  6. Gotta love this guy?!
  7. When?ve collected parcels previously, they?ve scanned the barcode on the email I get (on my phone). If your camera is able to display the bar code you?ve taken a photo of, you should be ok - but a print out of the email may help with ref nos etc if they want proof.
  8. Also, ULEZ is not just a London thing, I think other towns are setting them up ie. Pompey
  9. Shauns has been showing as open all week on t?internet. But they ain?t been.
  10. ? SE21 still has their own sorting office at Alleyn Road.? Of course they do !
  11. Try Farmers, then Dulwich DIY.
  12. No mate, I?m just contesting what you wrote about Govt ?opportunity?. If you?re saying now you didn?t mean what you wrote, it doesn?t diminish my response. I can only respond to what I read !
  13. The Govt isn?t going to take this ?opportunity? to make anything safer, cleaner, or better quality, when they?ve had decades already to do the same unhindered - without the impact of Brexit and pandemic costs. This seems worse than conjecture, why are you even floating this as a possibility ?! Has TheCat got your tongue ?
  14. It?ll go on indefinitely, until it?s convenient for RM to address it, it started way before Xmas or the pandemic, meanwhile shareholders win (I assume, I haven?t checked progress of share value). Considering the ED sorting office was considered unviable before RM closed it, the impact of closing it seems significant !

Are the increases in sewage/effluence releases into UK waterways part of those higher standards, or are they evidence that removal of an EU minimum standard is being taken advantage of ? Any suggestion that Brexit will help increase any kind of standard is surely laughable, when the constraints of EU standards was an argument put forward FOR Brexit.

It seems CP Rd is the usual route from Highshore Rd, using vans that appear to be governed at 35+mph.
  17. I don?t suspect there is a collaboration between the thieves and the delivery guys. The delivery guys have something like 200+ parcels to deliver in one outing, often they seem to be pretty much doing what the USA paper delivery boys do i.e. just chucking the parcel somewhere near the front door! They are not going to faff around looking for the perfect hiding place.
  18. Tell him Del on CP Rd recommended him 🥊📱
  19. jazzer - you could try the phone shop near ED stn, the blue-painted shop. Pras there has sorted me on several things previously, not unlocks, but that doesn?t mean he can?t do that. He?s on 07967 525383
  20. Did ianr mean it?s oxymoronic ?
  21. Neither does durian !

  24. Unless something changes in next couple of days, we?re only hanging a two cards this year 🤣🎄
