  1. That take's the biscuit !
  2. school: expelled Pie and Mash shop down The Cut: several years ago - for popping-out to get a bottle of HP sauce from local grocers after being told they didn't have any in the cafe. driving: long story couple of pubs: few years ago. fighting / weapons. to be fair it was not my fault entirely, I was just responding in kind but I was the ass that got caught. Burma: not sure it's on their official records, didn't hang around to find-out, but the army took me near to Chedi Sam Ong (three pagodas pass) border and told me I was not welcome back in Burma. 'spying'.

  4. "Please tell me where you can get a rare/medium-rare burger round here, because I've never found one. " Try the GE. I was there on Wed last week, asked for the burger to be medium (it's only the last year they seem to have chilled on you asking for medium rare actually). Burger came back rare. Had to ask for it to be cooked-on.
  5. I'm happy to see any of the fights mentioned. I sometimes wonder with Khan fighting light-punchers to make him look good is really the best way to get the fights he says he wants. He's wasting time when he could be proving himself. If he ain't good enough - well that's the sport he chose innit.
  6. "Khan wants Cotto, Bradley, Marquez or Mayweather-Pacquiao winner at Wembley Stadium" (Boxing News 24) I do wonder how Khan thinks he can possibly expect these established and consistently proven fighters to entertain coming to UK to fight him. Bradley and Marquez don't hold titles but still wouldn't regard him as a big enough contest, especially one requiring travel abroad ! Cotto is a MW (or LMW). Manny and Pacman surely want titles. The obvious missing name here from Amir Khan is Kell Brook. Probably a stadium filler, world title on the line, both British fighters. Is Khan scared of Brook ?
  7. Street Legal - Dylan. Just rediscovered Where Are You Tonight ?
  8. Won't all this slow the buses down ? If so, how insane is that ?
  9. I know a great place in Newsome, Huddersfield, for fish and chips - if we're taking this global..
  10. Three months hard labour. Next.
  11. "I was a huge fan when it was Ideal, but last time I went there it was crap. But maybe just a bad day. To be honest I am very very rarely in Dulwich at the sort of time I'd need a cafe, so not a big deal, but was disappointed this morning." I think it may have been a bad day Otta. It's OK in there, he just wants to keep it a cor-blimey greasy. Maybe give it another go..
  12. Frampton was spot-on. McGuigan said better that Rigondeaux, which I think is a bit over the top - perhaps if Frampton beats someone in Nonito Donaire's class's he can say that. Actually, it's a bit worrying how McGuigan is SO apparent in the celebrations and post-fight talks. I know he's an ex-champ and has brought Frampton this far, but his rapture on each win is a bit OTT for my taste - he's re-living the past through his charge's boots. It's a bit like the Eubank situation but not done with such obvious ego.
  13. Check plotnykov he's amazing for 37 !
  14. Frampton contest - anyone watching on ITV ? Weird in 2nd round - don't blame Frampton tho.
  15. At Boston, check-out Fenway stadium for baseball and sit in the bleacher seats for best atmosphere (rowdy).
  16. Sometimes they have a big of blood with their poo as they emit the crunched-up bones. Probably more do-able with bigger dogs.
  17. "I just think that RPC came across as not having much sympathy or liking for fellow posters in some of the things she said. Not all the time but enough to receive the comments from others. Personally, I prefer to think before I write." Perhaps. I saw some really nasty posts a few days ago but when you see that sort of thing you have to assume it's just a bad day they're having, especially when it's pure hate with no logic.
  18. Oh that's a snip. Who's in ?
  19. Wow - that's a lot if dough. I wonder how that rates against other contests, or even top-tier events in other sports like Wimbledon.
  20. someone told me that tickets for the big fight are $100,000 each. I haven't had chance to check but surely that can't be true ? Not sure who wins Carl Frampton's contest, I don't know the other guy at all (and am also reliably shite on predictions). Unfortunately I'll be in the country again relying on wifi so don't expect to be able to access ITV4 - saw the fight advertised whilst in the Castle last night. Jean Pascal is fighting Kovalev soon I read, The way Froch handled Pascal some years ago you'd expect Kovalev to do the business.
  21. Basically the other 'champs' in his division should be ashamed of themselves - Cotto should face him or go back to LMW, Quillin vacated rather than face Koborov and had nothing to say when Golovkin's name was mentioned. Andy Lee says he's interested but don't they all - he's more likely to face Saunders in Ireland. The established boxers flapping their gums about GGG not having proven himself are increasingly in need of better strategies to not fight him. The whole situation is a sad symptom of the multi-belt charade called international boxing.
  22. 'Good boy' ? When GGG was interviewed the last few years, especially early on, he always whilst showing respect to past and future prospective opponents said they were a 'good boy'. Probably as a result of his limited English.
  23. Bollox. Am away from TV but have www. For some reason couldn't watch channel 5 via laptop, nor via dodgy line streams, so resorted written updates on boxing sites. GGG is the MW 'good boy'.
