  1. A bit arse about face here.. If the whole tone of this extended diatribe hasn?t been about then WHAT has it been about - please do specify !? Feel free to ?interpret? my comments however you want, but to anyone not focussed on picking holes, I think it?s fairly clear what I was saying. But if you?re able to convince yourself you?re scoring points by picking holes in text, please crack-on ! yeknomyeknom Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > You seem to think it?s normal to stand around > looking at other people?s kids. > > You fling out the word paedo casually and mostly > when other people aren?t using it. 2. Thanks for heads-up, useful info saving us wasted journeys and time.
  3. Don?t look at my kids. Jeezus. ?Everyone?s a paedo, right ?? Paedo is mainly a family game tho - worth remembering.
  4. I see ribbons and flowers tied to a bollard on the pavement where Dennis Anderson was senselessly killed this time last year. It?s gone quick, but probably not for his family and friends.
  5. Of ALL the things to spend money on when key services are struggling, even being cut-back ! Perhaps hoping for logic is too fantastic. There'll be a reason it's being proposed though (win favour with NI, would a bridge even help ?!).
  6. Yeah a mate of mine was sectioned twice. No police, no courts.
  7. ? Please have him report it to the police. If they did this to a man they wouldn't think twice about doing it to a woman with baby or an elderly person? Have any women with babies / elderly persons been attacked ?
  8. Anyone got any views on the EU trade talks? Or is another thread required?
  9. Is this guy of quite slight build ?

Suspicious of what ? Suspected of what ?
  11. "oven ready.."
  12. "The OP didn't make any such assumption! It was all the numpties on here accusing her of calling the man a paedophile, when all she said was that she was a bit concerned" 'concerned' about what exactly ? please advise: 1. 2. 3. etc..
  13. May be a dead animal under floor.
  14. NewWave: "I would be really upset to think someone would think I was some kind of pervert for being alone in or near a playground" Unfortunately, being a woman, that accolade would probably not be bestowed on you. Seems to be what the blokes get. It's funny, this whole over-thinking episode, it reminds me of an incident a few years ago at Goose Green kids' playground. I was there with my youngest, who was running around with her friends. I saw a child fall over and hurt herself, crying. I did the customary looking around for a parent, upon not seeing anyone interested I approached the child, stood her up and helped wipe the grit off her knees while asking if/where she hurt. The child was broadly OK, just shaken as would be normal. Suddenly a hand on my shoulder wrenches me away from the child and a Mum (who it turned-out was chatting with friends at the far end of the park) is warning me not go near her child. I explained that the child was hurt, alarmed and alone. Not good enough - 'stay away from my child' !
  15. So, pk decides to weigh-in with insults, completely unprovoked. Class.
  16. Jeez I?m gobsmacked that an adult in a playground without a child accompanying is automatically under suspicion as a pervert. OMFG

  18. ? Since then, if there has been a conflict between national law and European law the UK courts have to give priority to European law? How is that a conflict ? It was part of the arrangement, providing parity across member countries, just as in any partnership. Just slogans Foxy. Mottos, slogans and mantras. I?m always on the lookout for something I?ve missed, an oversight on my part, a failing in my initial comprehension of an issue, in case there?s a key part of the ?other? argument that makes sense and requires further thought / consideration. That?s why I ask you questions and press for answers. So I can see the alternative view and understand it. However nothing you write gives any sensible basis for reconsidering my position - or even for understanding the basis for what your position actually is.
  19. No, I think Sepiroth was just quoting you Cat, she?s not making a statement on being reasonable or otherwise - that?s your chosen word, not his/hers.
  20. ? Leave voters just want to get on with things and make it work? This is encouraging, I guess. Foxy, as a Leave voter, what is it that you are getting on with and what are you doing to make it work. If not you the which Leave voters are doing this, as per your suggestion above ?
  21. Well said exdulwicher.
  22. bob: "KK only 9 years out" I don't think I was 9yrs out... 2020 (now) - 26.5 (yrs Blue Mountain was open - according to them, see their post above) = 1993.5 I said "1993-4", so I was actually bang on !! (makes a change....)
  23. Nah it was more like 1993-4, not 1985 !
