  1. Angelina, Lions Sports Mixture (now called Football Mixture, I think). Swedish (salt) liquorice.
  2. I read on social media that people living near Trump?s golf course estate in Aberdeenshire have been sneaking onto the golf course at night and shitting in the golf holes ! A dump for Trump !
  3. So it?s worth knowing there are a couple of decent Asian ingredient shops in Peckham.
  4. Well, for all the cafuffle, we?re loving our sweet treats this eve !! Yummo !
  5. ?I sometimes feel you all would be happy when all local businesses have failed and you can whine about the empty derelict high street and what can we do to attract shops back !? this. If we brought the high st back to 1990 status, the same whiners would still be whining.
  6. If the premises were rent-free, guess what I bet sweet prices would be cheaper ! Bought some confection today, standard stuff, hard to get wrong. If you can get sweets 49p cheaper (or whatever) got to the other place instead if you prefer. Great shop for LL IMO.
  7. Well if the facts were on the original thread I know them as well as anyone else who read it !! Predictable - except you never did predict it, right !?
  8. Yeah. You destroyed yuor own work there Cella, by gettin that thread deleted. Calling someone up on the validity of their well-intended review / post was not useful and scored very high on the twat-o-meter.
  9. great vodafone here in SE22.
  10. Yeah Rye Lane precinct was a runner. Thanks for news BNG.
  11. Partner control / obligation can mean geezers aren?t able to see mates as often so they drift with time.
  12. traders pay massive fees to cover festivals and I'm sure that's a big part of pricing for beer and food. pat-down is probably an obligation on the organisers in order to get permission to hold the festival, but surely it makes sense to protect people / families as far as possible from drug behaviours/outfall. a reputation for no pat-down won't benefit anyone will it ?
  13. Not when they?ve been eaten by a pig
  14. Overkill for a rat, dude
  15. BBC website will tell you if you specify postcode area
  16. Yeah same thing with Spirits of Salts. Will eat anything organic.
  17. That crossing has been a fatality waiting to happen for years, the lady was lucky.
  18. And you can't include Boris Johnson in the list of comedians, he's actually a politician.
  19. KidKruger Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > A 20mph restriction makes roads for drivers and > pedestrians safer. Says who? Says me. As a driver, pedestrian and cyclist. I pulled-over a moped guy last night for going too fast on CP Rd, it?s s 20mph zone and he was taking the piss with his speed. Bizarrely he agreed, and apologised !
  20. That?s just how long it takes to deal with the event. Whether or not the Council have the right to use ?public? (lol) land to stage events for profit is perhaps a matter for debate - but it will continue regardless (if the Council want to continue).
  21. In the early 90s the site where Franklins is now was used I think for storage. I had seen signs up about hazardous chemicals / warning signs. There is an old sign above the Franklin sign which says the name of the old pub, but that pub was not operational immediately before Franklins opened for some years that I know of, certainly not after 1990.
