  2. I make you right on that one *Bob*. And as for getting Joanna Whalley to star in a film on the matter, I should bleedin' cocoa. And as for the Pet Shop Boys writing the theme song, you're havin' a Turkish, aincha? And as for getting a singer of Dusty Springfield's calibre to perform said song, fackorfaahtoutofit.
  3. I can't stand the idea of watching football, but occasionally find myself in front of the telly and enjoying it. Go figure. So BBW, your dad was Gordon Ottershaw then.
  4. Where's Barry Bucknell when you need him?

You know what they say Moos, if you can't remember the sixties you're lying about your age. Or something.

  7. Been reading it for 30 plus years, man and man. Always read the cartoons first. Then Street Of Shame/Hackwatch, Letters page, Square Eyes, Rotten Boroughs, HP Sauce and the book reviews/news. I then saunter through the rest of it at my leisure. I've read the city column once I think, which I think is once more than former editor Richard Ingrams ever did. Nice respectable thread to celebrate your unbanning BBW. Keep it up. (and no that is not a suggestion for a thread)

Remembered from an interview with Luke Haines (Auteurs, Black Box Recorder etc) "I see Graham Coxon going around Camden on a skateboard. He's in his thirties you know" I'd give it a swerve if I were you, MP.
  9. Last evening the 'phone went and a woman asked for 'Baz', as that's a nickname of mine I confirmed I was he. The caller seemed a little confused and said she had the wrong number, I thought the voice sounded familiar and asked her name. "Michelle" she replied. As in Michelle OBAMA. We laughed at the coincidence and fell into conversation, for at least twenty minutes. I recommended where she could get Ben Sherman shirts for Barack and gave her some rhyming slang to liven up the those dull official functions and also my idea for she and Sigourney Weaver to perform a thrash metal duet of Ebony And Ivory. Anyway she was charm itself, but if you see Gordon don't tell him, he doesn't need his chips pissed on any more.

  11. So BBW you might well have a career as a private dick.
  12. Brendan Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > We only want threads on well-heeled, respectable > tits, arses and front bottoms... What's the House Of Lords got to do with it, Brendan? Honestly it's like Ben Elton's in the room, isn't it?

  20. And well done to BBW, for reminding me of the phrase doss-c*nt. Thanks.

Nigee, may I recommend the Capitol at Forest Hill, spend two hundred quid in there in an evening and you get sent home with a couple of fruit machines and the barmaid/man of your choice.

Well I've consulted the Ker-Ching and I find this is the best possible time, of all possible times to be putting money in my pocket. If you want lucky heather then that's a bonus. It's the silver donation that brings the luck. Seriously Andy, don't be reckless with fortune, it's not worth it. And just FYI I find myself in a position where I may be able to affect an introduction to 'Lanky' Heather, a currently unattached model/Superdrug consultant who is on the dating scene. No promises of course.
