It's obvious I'll be living in a pantomime. Nothing will be as it seems and everything will be a flimsy and cheap looking fantasy. OH YES IT WILL!!
  2. Thanks for the info on the yams HAL900, the Dioscoreaceae family. Who knew.
  3. At the moment it's because I'm keenly anticipating the opening of Boho. It's all that's keeping me here frankly, so I better not feel crushed and devalued after I visit there. If I do I'll be the dejected figure shouldering a stick with a knotted hanky on the end you'll see heading towards Clapham on Sunday morning.

  15. Let's also have a science fiction section for Gillian McKeith fans, a music section for, well music, an autobiography section for those who like talking about themselves and a novel section for *Bob*-style initiatives.
  16. Fire - Bastard Kasabian
  17. Nope, but the singer is correct and the LP was absolutely fine.
  18. Perhaps I've been a touch obscure with this one. Not putting you on the spot Sean Mac, but you might reckon this artist and the record concerned were OK. Which of course means I have put you on the spot. Sorry. I hope you're fine and alright about the whole thing.
  19. It was as far as I know FJD, and I think I know as far as that. We Didn't Start The Fire - Billy Bastard Joel

  21. It was the NCMs of course FJD, remember it well, "Them Cherokees 're after me...but I'm singing a happy song...higgerty, haggerty hoggerty high, pioneers we never say die, a mile up the road there's a hidden cave...and we can watch those Cherokees go galloping by..." It was a song that was part of my life as a youngster such that I could quote those lyrics from memory, and feel proud to do so. And of course the singer was Barry McGuire who went on to do 'Eve Of Destruction'. But I digress. Wheel On Fire - The Brian Auger Trinity
