And if Mike Yarwood's still alive, he'd proably pay money for the above. But only Yarwood, Ken Dodd would consider it limp beyond belief. And so would the DiddyMen. To a man.

I think SKS is OK really, he's just taking the 'my band' attitude and applying it to food. 'The Kaiser Chiefs, saw them down the Dog & Handgun, there was just me, Hideous Bill, Stuttery Dave and Gavin there that night, farkin' brilliant they were. Went out the next day and bought their first single on the Used Tampon label. Those were the days. Now they can afford to eat and get quality shoe repairs I find I've lost interest'. it's fine really and nothing to get all bent out of shape over. Though SKS, seriously if you could pm me with the name of the place/places I'd be grateful. My son and his affianced are huge fans of sushi and would welcome a tip off. I won't let on to anyone else and nor will they. We're coolio.

Thank you, though if Sean Mac had put his head round the door... I eat everything in front of me and it led to a dramatic change.

So I'd like to know where, you got the noion Said I'd like to know where, you got the notion To rock the boat, don't rock the boat baby Rock the boat, don't tip the boat over Rock the boat, don't rock the boat baby Rock the boat Ever since our voyage of love began Your touch has thrilled me like the rush of the wind And your arms have held me safe from a rolling sea There's always been a quiet place to harbor you and me Our love is like a ship on the ocean We've been sailing with a cargo full of, love and devotion So I'd like to know where, you got the notion Said I'd like to know where, you got the notion To rock the boat, don't rock the boat baby Rock the boat, don't tip the boat over Rock the boat, don't rock the boat baby Rock the boat Up to now we sailed through every storm And I've always had your tender lips to keep me warm Oh I need to have the strength that flows from you don't let me drift away my dear, when love can see me through Our love is like a ship...

What did anyone expect? Any piece of journalism with the words 'property', 'prices' 'catchment area' and 'local amenities' are usually about one place. Dullsville. Seriously man. -
I know I shouldn't be, but I am a little embarassed to be sharing initials with her. I can't help it, I'm a sensitive old fluff I know.

You do don't you? They're not the sort of people who are achieving much. Who aspire to anything and who have any say or stake in society, or even in the community they inhabit beyond their own subculture. Imagine living a life where the > rules were that if someone looked at you the > "wrong way", they were "dith-rethspeking me, > blood" and you had to then shoot them and spend > the rest of your life in prison where one of your > victim's "homies" would probably "shiv" you with a > "shank" or whatever. No I can't imagine it. But I don't pretend to understand exactly why some young males end up in the situation described. I am tired of the platitudes mouthed by radio broadcasters, churches, community 'leaders' The Mayor, politicians both big and small and even the youth themselves. I think the factors that create these young people involve deprivation, lack of a father figure, the predominance of drug dealing in poorer neighbourhoods and the need of said drug dealers to create a 'postcode' gang culture in order to take care of business. If you feel you have nothing to lose then perhaps going to gaol doesn't make any difference. If you've lost the ability to feel/empathise then nothing can touch you. In a gang? In prison? Same mindset. Tragic. > Very, very sad!

You're very welcome to use my story, but please employ pseudonyms, Tug and Nora preferably. Also Billy-Ray would like to be known as Gavin. It was a hot afternoon on the last day of June and the sun was a demon. The clouds were afraid 110 in the shade, I seem to recall the pavement was steaming. I told Billy-Ray in his red Chevrolet I needed time for some thinking. I was just walking by and when I looked in her eye and I swore it was winking. She was 31 and I was 17 I knew nothing about love and she knew everything and I sat down beside her on the front porch swing and wondered what the coming night would bring. The sun closed her eyes as it climbed in the sky and it started to swelter, the sweat trickled down the front of her gown and I thought it would melt her. She threw back her hair like I wasn't there and she sipped on a julep, her shoulders were bare and I tried not to stare when I looked at her two lips. And when she looked at me I heard her softly say "I know you're young you don't know what to do or say but stay with me until the sun has gone away and I will chase the boy in you away". And then she smiled and we talked for a while and we walked for a mile to the sea we sat on the sand, and a boy took her hand but I saw the sun rise as a man. Thirty five years have gone by since I looked in her eye but the memory lingers. I go back in my mind to the very first time and feel the touch of her fingers and I go back to that a hot afternoon on the last day of June and the sun was a demon. The clouds were afraid 110 in the shade and the pavement was steaming...

I saw on another thread the suggestion the place is going to be called 'Tea Amore', my first instinct was that it was a joke, purely based on the small amount of gangster Italian I'd picked up from The Sopranos etc. Thank Christ I didn't point it out then, I'd have felt foolish. Maron! -
