  6. BigBadWolf this is WoofMarkTheDog, WoofMarkTheDog, BigBadWolf. I just know you're going to get along.
  7. Tell you what Giggi, you never know, it might just tip the balance for you on the day of judgement. And you'll be after-living proof that no snooze is good news.

Shame really as he's not a bad actor. Knocks 'one' out, eh BBW? Of course you're speaking for yourself but I for one am not impressed.
  9. The 12 terminates at the top of Barry Road and there are no significant hills or slopes between Peckham Rye and there. Pissed off this AM in Barry Road, no 12s or 197s running up there, and yes I checked the TFL site to see if they were diverted - nada. The 363s were running down there but were not stopping, presumably because they were on diversion, at last one driver who presumably had kept a little of the sense he was born with, kindly stopped and picked us up, got to Peckham and it was not too bad after that. Just miffed (and that's all) about the web site not giving proper info. I shall be firing off a stinging rebuke to them when I return to my garrett.

  14. Honestly you lot, the oldest trick in the book and you fell for it.

Actually not strictly true, some of them took it in the face. I used the AK47 rather than the Uzi 9mm, I like to think I'm a sport. Sorry about the barrell.

Duuh. Which road are you living in where it took, even in today's uncommon conditions, two people two hours, to dig their car out of the snow? Perhaps you could have offered some assistance to melt the snow for them, what with your pants being on fire and all.

I wouldn't be surprised if they hadn't started fomenting the recent unrest about that Totale company bringing in foreign workers and all that malarkey. I'm not holding you directly responsible, of course. Not directly. Not completely. But in future, think before you Frenchify, it can lead to faux pas.
  20. Hence that well known piece of wisdom the ladies pass to each other, 'You've been with the Quids, you know you've been did' Or so I'm lead to believe.

  22. I know, they must have thought you had money to burn.
  23. Well I went out earlier to find Somerfield open. I made the effort to get there to avail myself of their great offer of four large bottles of San Mig for a fiver. I walked in there drooling and smacking my lips like Fatty out of The Bash Street Kids (any resemblence, purely my own fault). To find what? None available. Nor the large Stellas, or indeed the Becks for the same generous price. I was told the delivery couldn't get through because of the snow. A bit of snow, scarcely thicker than an application of rouge on a virgin's alabaster cheek has brought this once proud nation to its knees. Has it come to this? Has it? Broken Britain indeed.
