  2. Little Arrows - Leapy lee (one for the teenagers, as the Candyman would say)
  3. I've just heard we can eat all the eggs we want from now on. Some boffins have said it's OK. Well done boffins say I. Fried, boiled or scrambled. All three if you want. Go to work on an egg. Fay Weldon wrote that. Or was it Salman Rushdie? Or am I just thinking it's him because I associate his name with salmonella? I don't know, I'm all excited about being allowed to eat eggs again. I'm going to have me a whole mess of them today to celebrate.
  4. Poison Ivy - The Coasters Dedicated to Ivy Roscharch of The Cramps who will be mourning the death of her husband Lux Interior. Some great records and performances from them over the years.

Thanks for that BBW, but I'm not actually slimmer than anyone. Spot on with the stubble though.
  9. The Moon Upstairs - Mott The Hoople. I'm going with Giggi Atila as she just got in before you, and also The REM song mentions Mott The Hoople. I mean you have to don't you?
  10. Everyone's Gone To The Moon - Peter & Gordon

But to do so would be to cast aspersions about certain 'practices' and the lovely Gwynnie. I simply won't 'go there'.

  14. All this hating Chris Martin stuff, it's because he copped off with Gwynnie and you're all jealous. I'm right, amn't I?

  18. Mikecg Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > HonaloochieB, > > What have you been smoking? > > Can you get me some of it?..... I've found myself buying most of my smoking requisites at the Double Entendre Tobacco Emporium. Hence this evening I found myself loading the Meerschaum with a hefty load of Rough Navy Shag, sucking it down with gusto and then scraping the dottle from the end of my pipe until it felt brand new in my hand. A quick blow on the end, and it was ready to be pressed into service again.
  19. I'd be better off to the tune of twelve pounds. And that could possibly buy me, maybe a three month introductory subscription to the New Musical Express. Well you never know, do you?

  21. ???? Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Shouldn't that be rouge then Honny B? I think you could be along the right lines there Quids, but let's not allow BBW too much leeway. The rouge is possibly a step too far. But I reckon he's got the cojones to turn up on the site with a 'schmear' of eyeliner. Or of course 'guyliner' as the more rugged amongst us style it. Seriously BBW, I'd be disappointed if you didn't.
  22. Weight a minute, Brendan, punning on that scale has to be den-ounced. Accept you've been pound out and a-ton for your mistake. EDFers are agog to hear what you have to say on the matter. By my calculation at least a hundredweight your explanation.

Well Mike, since you ask about my 'dry joints'. I don't use the word 'torture' lightly, Mike, but torture is the mot juste, in this case, and my use of French is an indication of the sheer agony I'm experiencing. Knees? Don't talk to me about knees. The pain? I wouldn't wish it on a copper's nark, straight up I wouldn't. And as for my left elbow, my only comfort is that it isn't my right one. Otherwise my only comfort would be lost to me. And as for my neck, as much use as a one-legged man at an arse kicking contest. According to my consultant anyway. But thanks for asking Mike, I'd give you a thumbs-up but I'm not sure my shoulders would take it.
