It's either > the Masons or the HonaloochieB Appreciation > Society, or perhaps the intersection of both. If their aprons are big black leather jobs then that's exactly what they are. The lads once invited me join my own appreciation society as a Knight of The Brazen Serpent, but I took umbrage as it is only level 25 so I Groucho Marxed them and they left in a huff. Actually it was closer to a minute and a huff if memory serves. I've since regretted my somewhat charmless dismissal of the se well-meaning fellows, but could never track them down. I'll pop along one day and buy them all a snootful.
  2. Imagine my surprise when I found this thread is actually about chopping an onion. I opened it without due attention to the OP, anticipating a Snorkamunca type sneer at Sabatier knives and likely as not Roullier & White. Turns out it's about actually chopping onions - no agenda, no underlying resentment, no nothing in fact. Just a request for allium dissection. Maybe the world is really just a great big onion after all.
  3. Heroes - The Dame
  4. I've just remembered what happened to Calvi, so I'm taking no further part in this thread. Can't be too careful I reeckon.

Surely the Weatherfield Square Dealers of which Fred Elliot was Grand Master was an homage and salute to freemasonry? "Are you on the squuur"? That's what he used to say.
  6. Hello Ted, my friend Dave earns a living as a professional Sienna Miller lookalike and was wondering if you'd care to join him as Lawalike on a few corporate gigs he has coming up. He reckons all you'll have to do is turn up together, have row and you can knob off after a few minutes while 'she' gets comforted by a group of middle-managers. Sounds like money for jam to me. Just post a contact number/bail conditions etc and I'll pass them on.

  8. Got My Mojo Working - Muddy Waters
  9. I don't think so, it just wouldn't be the same without Les Gray and Dave Mount.
  10. What Have You Done For Me Lately? - Janet Jackson
  11. You could always start an affair with your brother's wife. The resulting fallout would mean never getting invited anywhere by your family ever again. It's a strategem known as 'Giggsing'.
  12. Actually you are anyway. HUGS.
  13. Thanks Giggi and LM it's loyal supporters such as yourselves that this show is now in its third glorious year. If it was a Broadway production you'd be 'angels' so you would.
  14. At home it's either a Guinness one for coffee and a 20 oz Taz one for the Yorkshire tea, and at work a slightly smaller Taz one for the tea that June makes me every morning, though she's off at the moment. I've got my eye on a stainless steel Dualit one though.
