  1. If you find one, I'm interested too!
  2. Yes, we notiiced it was empty today
  3. Pasta dishes - I know! Would just like more!!!
  4. The food is really tasty, the staff are lovely and it's usually fun. My only tiny gripe is that the pasta dishes are a tad on the small side for my voracious appetite. The last time we were there, they had a large, circa 30, party in who were being served banquet style. They had loads of whole roast chickens that looked amazing but didn't get eaten. When we commented to the staff what a shame this was, they gave us a couple of spares to bring home, gratis. Nice touch.
  5. Not a bar but super friendly and open to reserving you lots of space, The Hope. Or try Batch Cocktail Bar.
  6. Anyone looking for a noisy adult ginger and white cat? Been following people home on Denman Rd for past few hours and been crying outside my house for a good few this morning. Very friendly, large, solid cat. Doesn't seem under nourished so perhaps belongs to someone who has just moved to area and has taken a wander.
  7. Broken cashew nuts in our feeder - goldfinches and long tail/coal/blue tits love them. As does the odd woodpecker.
  8. I didn't pay mine a fee. He got a cut from the lender, presumably of the mortgage application fee I paid to the lender. If I hadn't taken a mortgage through him, I wouldn't have paid him anything.
  9. The other thing I found as a first time buyer and finding the whole process really stressful and confusing was that it was brilliant to have some one hand holding. Mine got me a great deal and charged no fee, he was upfront about the fee he got from the lender as an introduction. He's also been great at remortgage time too.
  10. Not bad but funny - spent a summer in a warehouse trimming the fur on Parka coat hoods....
  11. Don't know but there is a new boutique opening soon in one of them. Form I think it's called.

    Clocks

    Thank you!
  13. There's this group, don't know if they do electronics though https://mendersclub.wixsite.com/mendersclub
  14. Yes! I was going to say that!
  15. Absolutely. Hence being keen to get a councillor's perspective. Although would be intrigued to see the council try to get every one of these stores removed!
  16. James, very keen to know if you managed to ascertain formal Council position on front garden bike sheds. They seem to be increasingly prevalent and it seems hard to imagine that every householder applied for planning permission. I can't think I've ever seen one on the register. So, has the Council ever required removal if an 'unapproved' bike shed in a front garden? Is it planning to? Can we assume the custom and practice is now that these are generally ok?! Thanks
  17. We have something like this. Works well. https://www.gardenwildlifedirect.co.uk/bird-feeders/squirrel-proof-feeders/the-nuttery-feedsafe-giant-seed-feeder.html
  18. Meet District is always good, less fancy than Coal Rooms and Artusi though.

    Bags

Morrisons used to have a bin you could stick an unused bag into. I suspect one at Sainsbury's is the same. They're usually overflowing!
  20. Here here!
  21. Yes on The Nines. They say landlords wouldn't renew their lease.
  22. Now that we have this ridiculous CPZ in place I have to pay for a visitor permit for tradespeople working in my house. But I can't make sense of the Southwark rules for virtual visitor permits. It seems I can book to use one in advance but it doesn't say how far in advance. If I know a plumber is arriving on a certain day but don't know the time, can I book to use it 10 mins before he arrives? Or do i have to take a punt the day before? Virtual permits are cheaper than paper ones but seem harder to use! Help!
  23. Is there somewhere locally selling fireworks? I've not been out and about much recently and not seen any signs.
