Where'd you get the bag Dom ? "An independent publisher which celebrates forgotten female authors said it is "devastated" after pictures emerged of Dominic Cummings carrying on its tote bags." https://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/independent-book-publisher-devastated-after-dominic-cummings-is-pictured-carrying-its-tote-bag-a4269566.html
  2. Some Airlines (these seem to be US ones) are considering allowing passengers to avoid it although not seen by all as a good idea "Rupert Younger, the director of Oxford University's Centre for Corporate Reputation, told Business Insider that airlines' plan to let passengers rebook their flights was a bad idea, as it leaves customers to make their own decision about the safety of the plane." https://www.businessinsider.com/boeing-737-max-airlines-consider-telling-passengers-about-plane-2019-9?r=US&IR=T
  3. I don't like flying at the best of times. They won't call them 737-MAX though. A Ryan Air one was called 737-8200 earlier this year, they also maybe called 737-8 or 737-10 https://www.theguardian.com/business/2019/jul/15/boeing-737-max-ordered-by-ryanair-undergoes-name-change
  4. Hmm interestingly it's against Mastercard/Visa rules to require a minimum transaction. (2018). Not snitching though as it seems a good cause :) https://www.mobiletransaction.org/should-you-set-a-minimum-for-card-payments/

So maybe cash helps more in this case (I have no idea if that is true though).

  7. It's all kicking off for the semi's this week and looking tasty. Can't wait. :) "All four nations competing in the Rugby World Cup semi finals held press conferences this morning as they prepare for this weekend's games. England coach Eddie Jones used his media event to accuse someone of filming his team's training sessions from a nearby apartment block. He also accused some New Zealand journalists of being "fans with keyboards"."

  15. There's no difference to me why trains are late - it seems to happen with about the same frequency XR superglue, no driver turned up, person under train, train broke down, this train is cancelled because of . https://www.standard.co.uk/news/transport/jubilee-line-delays-commuters-hit-with-morning-rush-hour-chaos-due-to-unavailability-of-trains-a4264626.html And how does superglue work so well for them whenever I use it nothing sticks for more than a few minutes :)

"*EU law on VAT will apply in Northern Ireland. *UK shall be responsible for collecting VAT and excise. *Special treatment for some goods - UK could choose to apply Ireland's VAT reduced rates and exemptions in NI. *Regular review by Joint Committee" Imagine if Theresa May suggested that (she may have at one stage).

And if a Labour MP votes for such a deal, their betrayal of the most basic reasons their party even exists means they should no longer be a Labour MP, that the party?s leadership should withdraw the whip, or the national executive committee should deselect them." https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/oct/16/johnson-brexit-deal-labour-mps-lose-whip

REALLY? ironically the government has forced those on universal credit and state pensions to use bank accounts iirc. I'd guess the majority of cash users probably have bank accounts but prefer to take money out and spend it. Why would someone have no bank account - below article suggests you may have had identity theft issues or you may have just made that choice. It can still be done however. https://www.thebalance.com/how-to-live-with-no-bank-account-3861031

I feel so old reading that. Ashley are you here you trendy young thing :)
