More Arron Banks stuff - but he's just laughing basically. The reply to the petition requesting an inquiry says it all. https://www.channel4.com/news/revealed-how-leave-eu-faked-migrant-footage

You really need to check out Boris. Some of the stories about him. Here's only one. https://zelo-street.blogspot.com/2018/08/boris-and-monkey-melon-moment.html

All councils are short of cash - the question is how do they generate it if government isn't providing enough and council tax can't be increased by more than a certain amount.. Do you generate cash from things people choose to do or things people need or even fines for littering and smoking or can we go after business somehow,if so what size ? We (the residents of Southwark) should decide this so what we need is truth at the local elections (maybe ?).

The BBC at the moment are awful. Hope Faisal improves them. Farage love in yesterday and he is saying some provocative stuff.

One day I picked up a book in the university library describing physics in Imperial units - just WOW - and I thought what I studied was complicated.

Faisal Islam is off (Sky News) ... but then he's back (BBC News) One of the best Polictical hacks IMHO. https://news.sky.com/story/faisal-islam-a-front-row-seat-in-a-roller-coaster-of-mutating-political-crises-11691196

I don't either on my 2006 Toyota Aygo - I also only pay ?20 road tax. I think at the time these cars were seen as pretty good at emissions - it would be logical to change that now as I guess having a CAT isn't exactly planet saving anymore. Be careful if you have confidential stuff - like a PC data is recoverable unless you wipe it (write over it). Some sites just recommend you encrypt it to make any data recovery worthless or use a data eraser tool if you really want to be safe..

Extension being negotiated (and that's just Robbins account)

Sorry for not being up to your standard :) Seriously some people are claiming on twitter they've had death threats - the standard on here might be not always top of the intellectual range (some posters might be, I'm not claiming to be) - but its not that bad and it's not really nasty either.

I know the 213th was just out of prison wearing a tag, but as we have a bye-election in Newport in a labour safe seat pending I'll take it.

213 to 212 - that was close. Not sure it means much but ... and Hammond's come out supporting a second referendum (sort of guessed it was his view)

Tom Harwood (Guido) actually saying a 2nd referendum is on the table in the talks. Of course he thinks that's disgusting

Hope so - and also hope Corbyn has good advisers when he's talking to her (Kier ?)

A trap specifically mentioned to me was May plans to negotiate a Customs Union/Regulatory standards Brexit with Corbyn then next week state due to ERG/Cabinet rebellion she needs a referendum between that and a No Deal Brexit (so leaving the deal as Corbyn's deal and Labour stranded).
-
Nobody has mentioned that Theresa and Jeremy are now supposed to be linking up (today) I see different reactions to this ERG/Hard Leavers: Treachery. Many Labour supporters: It's a trap. Remainers: Don't forget the confirmatory referendum Labour in public: We'll negotiate a deal that may or may not include a confirmatory referendum depending on the deal (that was the shadow business minister).
