The Mail story is portraying this as Lockdown End however not as a bad thing. "Hancock welcomes return to work and says businesses that are reopening never needed to close: Traffic returns to London's A40 as 10 per cent more cars hit the roads, while huge queues form outside burger chain" Hancock possible quote in Mail tomorrow "there never was a lockdown"

Why are non essential shops still open?!

A load of delivery drivers seem to hang around outside - and the construction workers are back on most new builds now. Rye Lane is really quite busy now. Buses are still empty but sticking to the regular schedule which is disconcerting at night and traffic seems up. I think the lockdown is over for a group of people just like it started before the government said so. Hancock says he's OK for construction to continue and hardware stores to open Some employers are saying they have distancing measures in place now after using this time as preparation - not sure about tube journeys etc. -

Sorry, in my above post I underestimated Mr Trump and his ingenuity https://www.standard.co.uk/news/world/donald-trump-inject-disinfectant-coronavirus-treatment-a4422816.html

Spin noise depends to some extent on positioning (of the feet), vibration and age. My 10 year old Hotpoint is quite noisy on spin but when I replace it (soon as it's drying has stopped working)I expect much less.

Yes - not carried large sums of money - I learnt my lesson and never did after that. Most I've lost since was about 50 from a pocket snatch (if it happen you know what I mean) in the west end.

This sounds like something Trump would make up - but seems to come from proper sources in France Nicotine protects against Covid19 - People being strongly advised not to start smoking. https://news.sky.com/story/coronavirus-nicotine-patches-to-be-tested-on-patients-after-study-suggests-smokers-less-likely-to-catch-covid-19-11977460

So if > you've had covid, you're now partially resistant > but it's still worth getting the vaccine when it > becomes available. Herd immunity unlikely to work > without the vaccine. Why did he say "will Britain get this first" - surely work has been an international effort not only UK based research and other countries aren't sitting around doing nothing - that came across so badly. Also hearing reports that even if you are asymptomatic - damage to the lungs, heart and kidneys (and maybe brain) can happen - that means people are vulnerable to diseases afterwards on already weakened organs ? https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2020/04/covid-19s-consequences-for-the-heart/ So instead of a lung disease you get a form of heart or kidney infection.

Still sounds to me like the window is opening off screen for some reason (happpens to me all the time when I move from work to home) and I'd say do shift+window+left whilst the off screen program is selected to move it to another window. worth trying windows+up arrow too - maximise - I once had a tiny window.

The restaurant industry (and maybe the entire food industry) will change after this. How much I don't know but I think it will. Maybe we'll all change how we live permanently.

I've met street people at majorly different locations and pretty sure they haven't followed me - some people do get around although you usually find there's a reason. Of course they could say I get around :) -
location on c:\ drive is usually something like the below - unless you have Onedrive set-up to store in the cloud somehow. C:\Users\"username"\Documents

Normally I tend to support Khan but if he wants masks worn he has to make sure we can get them easily. Of course only certain groups are using public transport at the moment so maybe that's on his mind but soon it will come to wearing one at the grocery store and exercising.

You can apparently use bandanas - but mine have never felt comfortable on my face - I just use them as XXL size hankies.

Someone link to a site with disposable masks that arrive in 7 days. Oh - Tiger Supplies seem to be back up now https://www.tiger-supplies.co.uk/Catalogue/personal-protective-equipment/respiratory-equipment/disposable-masks/3-Ply-Face-Mask-Pack-of-50-105-04-05 but as that's a proper PPE site you can only buy 50x This one is same - https://www.ukmeds.co.uk/surgical-face-masks

No proof with heat one way or another yet - just that other viruses of this type don't like heat. MERS spread in a very hot environment mind you. https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/extreme-heat-cold-kill-coronavirus_l_5e95f1cac5b6044bb74eb6c4
