The experiment where volunteers gave electric shocks to another volunteer always makes me think what an experiment is really measuring and what they're looking for - we probably aren't mean't to do that and should just do them without the 'metathought' :).

Major update to this app via Island News (Isle of Wight), maybe that's the surprise ? ?Thanks to the great feedback from residents we are now preparing a bigger update next week, rather than an interim update of one new symptom. Residents will test this updated version of the app before it is released nationally." https://www.islandecho.co.uk/islanders-urged-to-keep-using-covid-19-app-with-major-update-expected-next-week/ I like the first comment - sort of fits "I know at least two people that were alerted they?d been near someone with symptoms and all the app told them to do was stay alert!"

I can't really say for sure as the culture in America is different on this and I have no experience of it - there does seem to be a problem. I listened to Killer Mike (he's a rapper) make an excellent speech asking for no more violence or property damage but describing systematic racism in parts of the US system. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/rapper-killer-mike-pleads-with-atlanta-demonstrators-to-burn-systemic-racism-not-specific-targets/

I don't know much about questionnaires but repetitive questions are generally trying to pick out inconsistent or false answers in my knowledge. Maybe the questionnaire isn't trying to find what it states it is. Claims to be inactive now so can't check it out :).

This is a description of the Kinnock visit - he kept his distance. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/mar/29/stephen-kinnock-targeted-by-police-for-visiting-father-neil The thing is the arrogance wasn't there he knew he had got away with it - you'd think Neil would look after himself still (and Glenys) :).

Lots of "black lives matter" chants - they have the right to protest and what happened in the States was disgusting.

Heading back up Rye Lane past my flat now - strange I didn't hear them go down.

Seriously - I think its a protest about George Floyd

But we (the UK) should be a bastion of the WHO - why else are we one of 5 permanent members of the security council - supposedly the only nations (the other 4) that could stand up to China - and when USA withdraws are the creating an alternative ?

We had this about 3G and 4G IIRC and cell phones and TVs in my dads day (I remember the warnings). The Radiation Research Trust are warning of 5G but go back 12 years and ... http://www.quackometer.net/blog/2007/05/wi-fi-quackery-and-parliament.html so really they should just say they don't like Wi-Fi, Mobiles or any G whatsoever from 2G. Some people do seem to have a sensitivity to EM Radiation (think Saul Goodmans brother in the series - someone I worked with claimed similar) - but that seems to include the Sun (I don't like sunny days myself).

Choumert Road has a dispersal order - not related to Covid-19 but it has to be if people are gathering. https://www.southwarknews.co.uk/news/choumert-road-dispersal-zone-in-place-for-second-weekend-in-a-row/

Trump has been censored by twitter for saying "When the looting starts, the shooting starts," https://www.cnet.com/news/twitter-hides-trumps-tweet-for-violating-its-rules-about-glorifying-violence-president-strikes-back/?ftag=CAD-03-10aaj8j

India has made their app compulsory with the police coming over to make sure you download it. https://www.wired.co.uk/article/india-contact-tracing-app-mandatory-arogya-setu Meanwhile in UK a beer celebrating Cumming's exploits seems to have more distribution than our app https://www.brewdog.com/uk/barnard-castle-eye-test

Not all homeless people are > alcoholics and not helpful to feed peoples habits. Lots of 0% if you don't want alcohol or a 0% G&T or Mojito. It's the thought that counts Mind if you find it's a private investigator on the tail you'd be shocked (They do exist as an ex work colleague got followed for weeks by the DWP because he was on the sick - waiting for him to throw his crutch away)

I think UK travellers will be the last to be allowed into Spain or Greece.

Strangely when I clap for the NHS I try to do it quietly not loudly. There's really no reason I do it other than to go out on the balcony and feel others are out there.

Ireland and Wales won't let you cross the border Uncle So it's Birmingham or Durham for your camp out.

Hancock is threatening us now - he doesn't realise how hard tracing and contacting people is and the people they've employed are basically students/young people and the like - getting hold of someone is a skill you learn. You can leave messages and send letters but people don't reply - they'll wait until they feel ill. You can pay a visit but lots of people don't answer doors unless people text ahead with a reason. The app seems to have failed already.

diable rouge Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Starministas? Have you just come up with that or > is that a thing?... Seems to be a thing (in jest) but I can't see a gang of them (and Remainers) attacking Cummings.

His reason for not staying in London appear to be he feared for his life from Remainers and Starministas.

Alan Medic Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Apparently Gove on LBC, has just said he drives to > test his eyesight too. This is beyond ridiculous. Ahh but he added he is not an authority on driving - do they actually know how the law works ?
