  1. GPs working in networks is great, had a phone triage at 930 on Monday by FHRGP and was seen at TJ at 1130.
  2. All together: ?On the 13th day of Christmas Royal Mail gave to me - 6 Christmas cards and some spam from an estate agent? Has anyone been the Royal Mail tracking site? A hilarious five minute trawl through different links that leaves you right back where you started. No chance of contacting anyone about missing parcel. What larks.

Found a few schemes around the country, very clear that people should be visible and operate during the day, neither of which is true for these ones. Also found this for Southwark which, as a cyclist, is the sort of thing that properly winds up motorists and propagates ?warfare? behaviour towards cyclists from car drivers: https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/events/community-speedwatch-98/
  4. Anyone know who the people are standing on half moon lane after the traffic lights near the railway bridge / Grafton? Don?t appear to be police but checking speed.
  5. Motorobike chains and wall anchors are your best bet, as above though depends how badly someone wants it https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152595602861?hash=item2387681dad:g:pPwAAOSwV7ZeoAom
  6. I had the one pictured
  7. Back on top of Landells Road 6.15 tonight, started swearing when I closed the door and banged on door again - reported it online
  8. Can?t seem to find an online resource for locations in London. Anyone know of one or have local knowledge? Prompted by seeing the name ?gun site allotments? on a map near the scout camp.
  9. I emailed Wednesday, got (I hope) an auto/scheduled response last night at 23:30 saying it could take 10 days to collect.
  10. Does anyone know if there?s any mileage in appointing an accountant to work on tax claims on home expenses now we?re working from hone substantially? Ie: does it wash with hmrc and is it worth it?
  11. Called Royal Mail customer services late August due to no post for two weeks, they said if there?s any financially important post expected they can arrange a delivery ‭0345 774 0740‬
  12. These are really interesting, 8646 clearly shows blitz damage in Melbourne Grove and Playfield Crescent, as also found here http://bombsight.org/bombs/12294/ Although this site doesn?t appear to show the v1/2 hits so I presume the damage on Crystal Palace Road up from north cross Road were these and not blitz damage.
  13. I have had variable experiences but it seems like a system issue as staff have always been kind and apologetic. If you have had a good experience and want to help them this feedback form is useful - as noted most people contact NHS services to complain only - and it does make a difference at a staff level for morale and to commissioners. https://www.fhrgp.co.uk/friends-family-test
  14. Johnson in SE5 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-48721211
  15. My first and last poem ever, on the subject of the 176 back in the day: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?20,216140,340577#msg-340577 Any bus that decides to drive reealllyy slowly, I suspect near the end of the drivers shift. Always happens when in a hurry.
  16. Barring ?on yer bike?, window shopping/door knocking are there any suggestions for searching for local jobs for teens?
  17. I was circled by a guy on one of these bikes in Sainsbury's car park when on my phone yesterday. Thought it was a bit sus but wasn't on my guard as it wasn't a moped. Thanks for the tip.
  18. Can?t we all just slag off the tories? They?re to blame for destroying council budgets and forcing these sorts of measures - and once again they?ve got us all arguing amongst ourselves?
  19. 3.5 hours in queue today and no parcel, also paid for next day delivery earlier in week. Totally not the poor staff's fault who were being brilliant and getting cheers whenever a parcel came out. Cheers also to the lady who offered to take an elderly lady and her heavy parcel home in her car. Good spirit from the ED massive on show today.
  20. Two plants and pots taken from top part of Landells Road in last two nights.
  21. I've got a card for a Mr. Oxlong, first name Mike. Does anyone know Mike Oxlong?
  22. This whole problem could be avoided if they and other barbers followed the golden rule: the only thing that a gentleman should have with his haircut is complete and utter silence.
  23. Defend yourself by carrying buckets of sawdust
  24. The smell on these buses is awful, I'm guessing that was due to no windows / flow of air? Rancid. And sod the windows on the 12 - when are we going to get replacements for the 176? I know of no other local route that runs buses that are 13 years old. We'll have bus-spotters riding them soon for their vintage value.
  25. A win! Through to playoff final against East Thurrock - Carew special free kick on 93rd min.
