  1. I've been doing some research online and wanted to know if anyone has any experience with tesco brand nappies? I've read they are great but I wanted to hear it from an actual person who had used them.. Also mothercare are telling me that madela is a great electric expresser and bottles - anyone used one? I'm planning to express so my partner can feed too.. Thanks !!
  2. HI Maybe one for the Admin but Im trying to find an old thread from a few months back that listed what mums had purchased vs what they actually used. ive used the search function under various keywords and phrases and keep getting loads of results none of which are the thread. Anyone know where it is or know what it was called so I can narrow down my search please? thanks
  3. Thanks everyone! Thanks mock you are so good to me! Just been chatting on another forum and apparently a tummy tub is the way to go - anyone had any experience? X
  4. Hi Some advice if I may.. First bub due in october and I have to have a c-section so am tossing up getting an all in one change and bathing station, to bath baby in the sink first and then to the big bath combined with an on the top of the cot changer or a set of drawers with a change bit on top.. I am leaning towards the all in one but my other half isn't convinced.. Thanks!!
  5. Ps I'm planning for bub to go to nursery at circa 13 months x
  6. Is anyone able to put the names of the nurseries on here? I am still baking baby number 1 but we are looking in to different options ESP as I've heard the waiting lists are so long.. Does anyone know if you can go on the waiting list before the baby is born? Thanks

  11. wow thanks everyone! Some great advice in here.. I keep hearing very favourable responses for the bee which makes me happy! I will take a look on ebay and see what's around.. As for the lifestyle I need to consider I have no stairs, narrow entrance to the flat (live in a conversion) and first part of the hall, cant store it easily without having to fold it down, wont be going off road, potentially bus some times but am intending to avoid it like the plague, car boot defo but we have a hatch back type boot so v large and also I have a dog.. Now my question is if the bee is as light as I think it is would it be suitable for attaching a dog to i.e. on a lead? (small king charles so no risk of her running off and taking the pram etc) or will I need something more sturdy? Thanks again! xx :))
  12. Hi As a first time expectant mum I had (naive) visions of walking around mothercare with lovely soft music in the background and just knowing which pram did what, what I needed and bingo bango the decisions was made.. WELL... It?s a minefield out there!!! I didn?t even know what a travel system was let alone if I needed one! Anyways.. So after about 3 trips to different mothercares and trawling over their brochure to the point where my other half is tempted to hide it from me, we are now looking at a bugaboo bee or a type of silver cross. Not for any particular scientific reasoning other than we both quite like the look and feel of the BB and my other half was pushed around in a silver cross as a baby.. How did you choose which pram / travel system / pushchair / buggie you were going to get? Any tips would be gratefully received! :))
