Thought it might be interesting to compare peoples Gas & Electricity prices, as I got a bit of a shock when I opened my latest bill from SainsburyS Energy. I'm a 1 bed flat (single occupancy) and the buggers have put it up from ?98 to ?128 per month (thats combined gas & elec). Does that sound too much?

Why not start a name and shame thread of all thr local ED Restaurants that don't hand tips over to their staff?

If they are coming from the station the pop into the Vale - it doesn't seem to get much of a mention on this site?! They are open late, have a good bar/drinks, even some dancing later!

I went to the one in Clapham - I was suprised to see that its no-where near as good as the E.dul one (and that's prior to the new build that's going on!) I think we'll be getting a damn good Sainsbo when it re-opens!

I remember when I was young - about 7ish, playing in the park with my mates. and I got chased by a big dog... luckily I manged to make it up to the top of a nearby climbing frame! - it scared the sh1t out of me + I was terrified of all dogs for a while after that incident (ok now though!). I think the owner found it quite funny at the time too!

I think that people who own "dangerous" type dogs should have to undergo some form of basic dog training/handling skills & and pass a test first. Similar to a CBT for scooters or Cycling proficiency test.

Jamie, good to hear you found her. Be careful with Bengals I used to own one and he was an outdoor cat. I remember once he went missing for about 3 days, whilst looking around I walked past some garages near where i live and heard some of his distinctive shrieks as he responded to my whistles. poor fella had managed to get himself locked inside one of the garages. He also used to get very territorial and would even try to chase off foxes! But after seeing the results of a fox attack on one of my neighbours' cats I decided to send him off to the country to live with my parents. They make incredibly good pets though!

Asahi is quality - crisp, dry and v.nice when served cold! I've only ever had it on tap once and it was quality. Grolsch....yuk! Red stripe.... isn't that what students drink?!
