  1. Ratty said:God know why this thing does not come with wireless!!! You can pick one of these up for 40 quid. http://demo.buy-asia.com/images/wirelessXBoxWirelessAdapter.jpg Should solve the Wireless problem.
  2. BT Bob as the fat plumber? Now, that was bobbins.
  3. Strangely I find myself touched by these simple but increasingly less frequent diplays of bonhomie. I tend to think that we're all in this together and that a little consideration goes a long way and highlights humanities less spoken about benign nature...then again it could be the several pints of Martini I've drunk tonight in honour of Shane MacGowan speaking.
  4. Yeah, new resi not as scary as the nerve shredding number 4 and the initial onslaught of nasty baddies harassing me before I'd even caught my breath(and get to grips with the initially baffling control setup)left me so traumatised I've left it 5 days before trying again. Picked it up again today and sure enough the controls start to make sense and are actually very intuitive. Superb piece of gaming. As for Bioshock, it was one of my alltime gaming highlights...although I did quit right at the death. I have a habit of not completing games though so its scarcely a criticism. I dont hold out much hope for the film however. Mortal Combat starring Kylie anyone?
  5. Am getting to grips with RE5 at the moment, lordy its tense.
  6. Lets hope so. ::o
  7. Blindigly inappropriate. Jackasses. (td)
  8. I just picked up a brand spanking new Elite specifically for the release of Resi 5. If you go through Littlewoods Direct you can pick it up for 160quid(with an online voucher). The matt black finish looks pretty classy too and the oft reported noisy drive has been toned down to a dull roar now. Try it, you might like it.
  9. Might be late with the news but I make no apologly for it, Aunties decided to air all 60 episodes of The Wire on BBC2 at a rate of one episode a night! Surely worth the licence fee alone. (tu)
  10. Are you still able to go for the cycle scheme thingy? If your still contemplating leaving in a few months(or keeping options open)you can accelerate the rate of your repayments(6 months instead of 12)so that you'll feel less trapped in an unending agreement. I'm a lot fitter than I was(months of swimmimg a mile each morning coupled with a few city cycling jaunts every week)so will not be struggling to keep up any more.
  11. Malcomio and I used to go out into the Kent Countryside for a Sunday tear-up. If you are definitely up for it I'll invest in a proper set of maps and of course if you need to but a rack for your car then we'll split that also. This urban cycling is all very well but not nearly as pleasurable as the bracing air and unspoilt Vistas that you get in rural Kent. M.
  12. Not that hardcore Fi. I do like to get messy though. It would be great to get a few of us together and sort some transport out. Let me know if you have any ideas. Regards, M.
  13. If anyone is interested in a bit of mountain biking in Kent then please let me know. Malcolm had his bike swiped a while back and I guess he hasnt replaced it yet and the net result is that I havent been offroad for months now! If anyone has a car and cycle rack that would be even better(split petrol money etc). M. :))
  14. Mozilla all day, everyday. (tu)
  15. Its a hell of a community resource and I think that Mark & Co could do a lot worse than franchise out this particular format city, nay nationwide. Although I notice that The Bizarro world that is the West Dulwich forum is spookily free of any traffic...
  16. ...and there you have it in a nutshell.
  17. Shame, I've found their food pretty good in the past and they make a mean Americano. Still, cant say your sausage sarnie had me salivating to any degree.
  18. Scrotelsach in Pensylvania. No, really.
  19. Shouldnt that be Natcees?
  20. Yes, Rabble Rouser. Thats the one. I'd quite happily lock him and Kelvin Mackenzie in a room together with no food or water see how long it takes for them to eat each other.
  21. My housemate Dave even managed to get a question aired...it was however ignored. Piers Morgan is truly a horrible cnut and I found it rather depressing that he was invited on such a supposedly high minded debate show.
  22. Theres a Crapstone just outside Plymouth and a charming place called Twatt in Cornwall. Brest is twinned with Plymouth funnily enough.
  23. Its a bit thin this. Not awful, just not all that great either. Bugger. :-S
  24. I must admit that I almost choked on my Crostini when I heard that someone in Italy had been found guilty of corruption...its a bit like someone in England being banged up for drinking Tea. Theres no doubt that Berlusconi is a crooked megalomaniac and Italy as a nation has struggled to form a cohesive democracy since the country was unified under Garibaldi but the Italians keep voting him back in. Maybe its the cheap aftershave and promise of a few witty anti european jibes that gets 'em packed in at the local voting booths in their droves...well that and his near monopoly on all media outlets in Italy. As for Jowell I say we should strip her of all her assets including the clothes shes wearing and kick her destitute ass out into the chilly February night just in case shes guilty. ;-)
  25. ...forgive my refreshing lack of cynicism but wasnt dear Tessa found to be oblivious of any culpability?
